39 My Speech I have never liked making speeches, so when we had to give a speech in English class I felt very nervous. First, I introduced myself to the class and told them I would talk about my favourite hobby, paper folding. I made a joke and everyone laughed, so I felt more relaxed after that. I showed them how to fold the paper and then how to make a bird, giving the instructions in English. At the end of my speech I helped the other students to make a bird too, going slowly step-by-step. Everyone enjoyed and understood my speech so I will not feel so nervous next time.
