6 现任校长简介（The incumbent president）
李北群，1969年10月出生于江苏省徐州市邳州市炮车镇，1998年毕业于南京大学高等教育研究所，获得教育学硕士学位，2007年9月在南京大学教育科学与管理系博士在读，获得教育学博士学位。 2010年担任南京信息工程大学副校长，研究员职称。2014年5月，担任淮阴 工学院院长、党委副书记。主要从事思想政治教育、教育经济与管理、高等 教育管理理论研究。

9 教学科研（Teaching and scientific research）
2011年至2014年，学校共承担国家级、省级、市厅级等各类科 研项目321项，获得省哲学社会科学奖1项，市科技进步奖49项， 获批专利188项；发表论文3978篇，其中核心期刊1261篇，被 SCI（E）、EI、ISTP收录803篇 学校拥有省级重点实验室7个，国家级和省级工程技术中心、检测中心公共服务平台6个，省级企业研究生工作站18个，国家级大学科技园1个。

10 对外交流（Foreign exchange）
截至2015年3月，学校与8个国家的高校建立了友好合作关系， 与美国西北理工大学、澳大利亚新英格兰大学、印度国家信 息技术学院、新加坡创新计算机学院开展了实质性合作办学， 每年有多名学生出国留学，有多名教师赴国外进修、访学， 并长期有美国、加拿大、英国、澳大利亚等国专家学者来校 任教或讲学。
