2 亡灵节的英语小范文 A Festival for the Dead is held once a year in Mexico. This festival is a cheerful occasion, for on this day, the dead are said to return to their homes and they are welcomed by the living. As they are expected to be hungry after their long journey, food is laid out for them. Specially-made lanterns are hung outside each house to help the dead to find their way. All night long, people dance and sing. In the early morning, the food that had been laid out for the dead is thrown into a river or into the sea as it is considered unlucky for anyone living to eat it. In towns that are near the sea, the tiny lanterns which had been hung in the streets the night before, are placed into the water when the festival is over. Thousands of lanterns slowly drift out to sea guiding the dead on their return journey to the other world. This is a moving spectacle, for crowds of people stand on the shore watching the lanterns drifting away until they can be seen no more.

3 亡灵节的来历 从１０月３１日起，墨西哥举国欢度“亡灵节”（也叫“死人节”）。墨西哥的这一节日，既与西方的“万圣节”有相似之处，又不完全相同。表现了浓厚的印第安民族文化特色。 墨西哥的著名作家、诺贝尔文学奖获得者奥克塔维奥·帕斯说：“死亡其实是生命的回照。如果死得毫无意义，那么，其生必定也是如此。”“死亡才显示出生命的最高意义；是生的反面，也是生的补充。”这不但成为带有墨西哥民族特征的文化现象，也表现了墨西哥人的价值与哲学观念。墨西哥人是从古代印第安人的哲学中，继承了这种对生命的看法。因此，他们欢欣鼓舞地庆祝生命周期的完成，一年一度迎接生者与死者的团聚。每年的亡灵节，就是这样一种阿兹特加人的哲学观念和习俗的影响。人们祭奠亡灵，却绝无悲哀，甚至载歌载舞，通宵达旦，意在与死去的亲人一起欢度节日。 亡灵节是受基督教万圣节和印第安人祭奠先人习俗这两种文化相互影响而形成的墨西哥传统节日，人们通过守灵、上贡等方式祭奠逝去的亲人。图为市场上码放整齐的骷髅巧克力。骷髅是死亡的象征，如同万圣节的南瓜头，它是墨西哥亡灵节期间最具代表性和表现力的形象。

6 亡灵节的庆祝方式 吃“死人面包”是亡灵节的一个传统，每到亡灵节前后，各大超市里都有各种尺寸的“死人面包”出售。制作“死人面包”的原料与普通面包无异，但是“死人面包”的形状就不一样了。通常能够见到的“死人面包”是圆拱形的，上面有一个十字或者是米字形状的隆起。对于“死人面包”的这个“造型”有两大理论：一说是模拟坟墓和十字架，一说是模拟人的头盖骨和交叉的四肢骨头。除了这种经典造型的“死人面包”，墨西哥民间还有约800种造型的“死人面包”，共分为4大类：“人形”、“动物形”、“植物形”和“鬼形”。 除了死骷髅，广场上还有不少“活骷髅”。不少孩子和年轻人化妆成骷髅或者是鬼的模样冷不丁走到你身边“鬼叫”一声，你的惊叫换来的是他们满足的笑声。广场上骷髅多，活人更多。像我一样看热闹的活人摩肩接踵，穿行于骷髅之间，不时还停下脚步，对着几个滑稽的骷髅又是大笑又是拍照，还有要求别人为自己和骷髅雕塑合影的。
