It is a mainstream introductory Pre-AP Chinese textbook. Rye Country Day School is one of many institutes using this textbook.

这本教课书的总目标: 教学对象: 美国高中生;中文水平2/3 学生; Pre-AP学生; 教学目的:1) 使学生从语法上了解中文; 2) 并且能如地运用中文; 3) 从课文中了解中国文化. 教学附带材料: 1)网上;  2) DVD movie;  3)CD 听力; 4) Multi-Media CD ROMs;  5)老师教程书.
