Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, what shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or what shall we wear?

For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Sunday Service January 2, 2011
講題Message:圣经中的一些“首先” “Some ‘Firsts’ From The Bible For The First Sunday Of The Year” 講員Speaker:Dr. Hamilton

“He (Jesus) said to another man, ‘Follow me.’ But the man replied, ‘Lord, FIRST let me go and bury my father,’…Still another said, ‘I will follow you, but FIRST let me go back and say good-by to my family.’

“If any one of you is without sin, let him be the FIRST to throw a stone at her.” “Yet I hold this against you; You have forsaken your FIRST love”

, “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. FIRST go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.”

“But seek FIRST God’s kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” “The FIRST thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, ‘We have found the Messiah’…And he brought him to Jesus….”

“FIRST, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world.” We love because he FIRST loved us.”

13 哥林多前书1 Cor.15:3-4 我当日所领受又传给你们的,第一,就是基督照圣经所说,为我们的罪死了,而且埋葬了,又照圣经所说,第三天复活了 “For what I received I passed on to you as of FIRST importance that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”

”And they did not do as we expected, but they gave themselves FIRST to the Lord, and then to us….”
