耶稣基督的使徒彼得，写信给那分散在本都，加拉太，加帕多家，亚西亚，庇推尼寄居的。 2 就是照父神的先见被拣选，借着圣灵得成圣洁，以致顺服耶稣基督，又蒙他血所洒的人。愿恩惠平安，多多地加给你们。 3 愿颂赞归与我们主耶稣基督的父神，他曾照自己的大怜悯，借耶稣基督从死里复活重生了我们，叫我们有活泼的盼望，Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To God's elect, strangers in the world, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia, 2 who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance. 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! 耶稣回答说，我实实在在地告诉你，人若不重生，就不能见神的国。 4 尼哥底母说，人已经老了，如何能重生呢？岂能再进母腹生出来吗？ 5 耶稣说，我实实在在地告诉你，人若不是从水和圣灵生的，就不能进神的国。 6 从肉身生的，就是肉身。从灵生的，就是灵。 7 我说，你们必须重生，你不要以为希奇。 8 风随着意思吹，你听见风的响声，却不晓得从哪里来，往哪里去。凡从圣灵生的，也是如此。 9 尼哥底母问他说，怎能有这事呢？ 10 耶稣回答说，你是以色列人的先生，还不明白这事吗？ 11 我实实在在地告诉你，我们所说的，是我们知道的，我们所见证的，是我们见过的。你们却不领受我们的见证。 12 我对你们说地上的事，你们尚且不信，若说天上的事，如何能信呢？ 13 除了从天降下仍旧在天的人子，没有人升过天。 In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. ” 4 “How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother‘s womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ’You must be born again.‘ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” 9 “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked. 10 “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? 11 I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven--the Son of Man. –约翰福音 John 3:3-13

可以得着不能朽坏，不能玷污，不能衰残，为你们存留在天上的基业。 5 你们这因信蒙神能力保守的人，必能得着所预备，到末世要显现的救恩。 6 因此，你们是大有喜乐，但如今，在百般的试炼中暂时忧愁。 7 叫你们的信心既被试验，就比那被火试验，仍然能坏的金子，更显宝贵。可以在耶稣基督显现的时候，得着称赞，荣耀，尊贵。 . . . and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade--kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. -彼得前书 1 Peter 1:4-7
