6 亞伯蘭對撒萊說：「使女在你手下，你可以隨意待他。」撒萊苦待他，他就從撒萊面前逃走了。 So Abram said to Sarai, "Indeed your maid is in your hand; do to her as you please." And when Sarai dealt harshly with her, she fled from her presence.

7 耶和華的使者在曠野書珥路上的水泉旁遇見他， Now the Angel of the Lord found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur.

8 對他說：「撒萊的使女夏甲，你從那裡來？要往那裡去？」夏甲說：「我從我的主母撒萊面前逃出來。 And He said, "Hagar, Sarai's maid, where have you come from, and where are you going?" She said, "I am fleeing from the presence of my mistress Sarai."

9 耶和華的使者對他說：「你回到你主母那裡，服在他手下」； The Angel of the Lord said to her, "Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hand."

10 又說：「我必使你的後裔極其繁多，甚至不可勝數」； Then the Angel of the Lord said to her, "I will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so that they shall not be counted for multitude."

11 並說：「你如今懷孕要生一個兒子，可以給他起名叫以實瑪利（就是神聽見的意思），因為耶和華聽見了你的苦情。 And the Angel of the Lord said to her: "Behold, you are with child, And you shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, Because the Lord has heard your affliction.

12 他為人必像野驢。他的手要攻打人，人的手也要攻打他；他必住在眾弟兄的東邊。」 He shall be a wild man; His hand shall be against every man, And every man's hand against him. And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren."

13 夏甲就稱那對他說話的耶和華為「看顧人的神」。因而說：「在這裡我也看見那看顧我的嗎？」 13 夏甲就稱那對他說話的耶和華為「看顧人的神」。因而說：「在這裡我也看見那看顧我的嗎？」 Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, "Have I also here seen Him who sees me?"

14 以這井名叫庇耳拉海萊。這井正在加低斯和巴列中間。 Therefore the well was called Beer Lahai Roi; observe, it is between Kadesh and Bered.

1 耶和華是我的牧者，我必不至缺乏。 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 祂使我躺臥在青草地上，領我在可安歇的水邊。 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

3 祂使我的靈魂甦醒，為自己的名引導我走義路。 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.

神的眷顧 God’s Care

人的選擇 Man’s choice

v.6b 我且要住在耶和華的殿中， I will dwell in the house of the Lord .. 住在主的話裡，住在主的心意裡 Abide in God’s words, Abide in God’s will.
