Righteous Judgment 公義審判 Romans 1, 2

一 、Paul & Gospel 保羅與福音 The book of Romans is Paul’s longest of epistles and is considered his “most important theological writing” Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God. (Romans 1:1) The content of the Gospel= Good news, the Messiah, Jesus Christ our Lord & the kingdom of God has begun Gospel objects 對象→ Jews and then Gentile (Greeks, non-Greeks, wise, foolish) Gospel goals目標→ to all who believe The power of the Gospel能力→ Power of God the core of gospel核心→ God’s Righteousness

Roman 羅馬書 1:16-17 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. 我不以福音為恥；這福音本是上帝的大能，要救一切相信的，先是猶太人，後是希臘人。 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”因為上帝的義正在這福音上顯明出來；這義是本於信，以至於信。如經上所記：義人必因信得生。

二 the Righteousness of God 公義 1. The most important characteristics of God, which is hard for people to fully understand, is perfection, fairness, justice and faithfulness 公義、作為→完全, 公平, 正直, 信實 2. Justification→ by accepting and believe in Jesus透過相信耶穌，人得稱為義 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. (Romans 羅3:23-24) 世人犯罪→白白稱義

Romans 羅 1:18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 原來，上帝的忿怒從天上顯明在一切不虔不義的人身上，就是那些行不義阻擋真理的人。一切問題核心： Godlessness 不虔→ to God Wickedness 不義→to People

三、不虔不義之外邦人的表現 1. Their thinking became futile, worship became corrupted, idol worship 思念虛妄，拜被造物 2. The sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies放縱情慾，不正常性行為 3. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity 他們存邪僻的心，行不合理，各樣的不義的事

上帝的榮耀變為偶像，彷彿必朽壞的人和飛禽、走獸、昆蟲的樣式。

四、Wickedness不義(Romans羅1:29-31) Evil 邪惡 Greed 貪婪 Depravity 惡毒 Envy 滿心是嫉妒 Murder 凶殺 Strife 爭競 Deceit 詭詐 Malice 毒恨 Gossip 讒毀的 Slander 背後說人的 God-haters 怨恨上帝的 Insolent 侮慢人的 Arrogant 狂傲的 Boastful 自誇的 Doing evil 捏造惡事的 Disobey parents 違背父母 No understanding 無知的 No fidelity 背約的 No love 無親情的 No mercy 不憐憫人的

五、猶太人的表現 Problems of Jews (Romans 羅 2:1-29) 1. Passing judgment on someone else 論斷人 2. Having self-righteous pride in knowledge of the law 靠行律法稱義 3. Boasting in the law, and yet dishonoring God by breaking the law 知法犯法
