使萬民作主門徒 Make Disciples of all Nations 是主命令的核心 v being the core of the Lord commands 要遵守主的教訓 v20a obeying the teaching of the Lord 有主同在的應許 v20b having the abiding promise of the Lord

17 太28：20 「就」是條件式 的應許 得著主同在的先決條件，在於我們是否履行前面的四個使命： (1) 不但是「去」、 (2) 使萬民「作」主的門徒、 (3) 奉父、子、聖靈「施洗」， (4) 教導人「遵守」主的話。
