本刊特稿 Special Manuscript 葛兰素史克药业行贿风波 GlaxoSmithKline Bribery Storm 据新华社电7月11日公安部通报：因涉嫌严重商业贿赂等经济犯罪，葛兰素史克(中国)投资有限公司〔简称GSK中国〕部分高管被依法立案侦查。 葛兰素史克，这家位列世界500强第253位、业内第7位的制药业巨擘，连日来成为海内外关注的焦点。 事件概述：GSK中国为达到打开药品销售渠道、提高药品售价等目的，利用旅行社等渠道，向个别政府部门官员、少数医药行业协会和基金会、医院、医生等行贿。 According to Xinhua News, Ministry of Public Security circulated a notice on July 11 that several senior executives of GlaxoSmithKline (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as GSK China) were under investigation for the suspicion of severe commercial bribery and other economic crimes. GlaxoSmithKline, a pharmaceutical giant ranking 253rd of Fortune 500 and 7th within the pharmaceutical industry, has recently become the focus of attention at home and abroad.
