Choose only search terms significant to your issue 確定檢索詞 Consider using alternative terms such as synonyms or antonyms 使用同義詞 To retrieve variations of words, use the Root Expander (!) Use connectors to specify relationships between the key terms 各檢索詞間之布林邏輯設定，以便精確找到文獻 Term browsing - to see the highlighted search terms Root Expander To retrieve words with variant endings, use the root expander (!). When you place an exclamation point (!) at the end of a root term, you retrieve all possible endings of that root. For example, obey! retrieves obey, obeys, obeyed and obeying.

To view a list of all databases, click Directory on the Toolbar To access a know database, type it identifier in the Search these Databases box in the left frame To search for databases on Westlaw, type all or part of a database name or a description of the database in the Search these Databases box in the left frame. This acts as a database finding tool The green “I” gives you detailed information about that database including beginning of coverage
