可利用下拉螢幕限制檢索欄位（全文、題名、作者、摘要、關鍵字、表格、出版型式、出處和DOI等）每一個檢索空格可提供一般檢索指令，包括 wild card (以*省略)、布林邏輯運算（AND、OR、NOT），也可合併同時使用括弧內的附註說明，並可用引號執行片語的檢索設定關鍵字 “antibiotic*” 及 “otitis” 以 “*” (文字切截功能) 代替所有的字尾變化, 可以包含所有字根相關的詞彙。設定關鍵字出現的範圍在 “Search All Text” 且檢索的資料庫範圍為所 “All of The Cochrane Library"
