2 Windows TN3270 Server 與 Cisco CIP 與 Visara 1174-25S之比較
3745 FET：由 Windows TN3270 Server 及 Cisco CIP 或 Visara S 取代。 Windows TN3270 Server不穩定、需要每天upgrade 及資料備份，還有軟體 License費用，須要加強人工照顧及維修費時等問題，很麻煩。 Cisco CIP 價位超高，每增加Session又要License費用，真是無底洞。 Visara S 硬體升級空間大、可靠性高、維修快速、不須要資料備份、沒有TN3270 軟體License費用、節省人力及價格適中等優點。

3 TN3270 Servers支援 TN3270 Servers 1174-25S 與IBM 3174/2074 完全相容。
支援最多兩個ESCON光纖或兩組BUS & TAG 與 host 連接。 支援16 個 LPARS ，可增加至32個。 支援32 個 Coax ，可增加至128個。 支援32 個 Telnet ，可增加至256個。 支援32 個 TN3270 ，可增加至512個。 可增加多個Token Ring Interfaces。

利用Bus & Tag及ESCON與 host 連接 當Token Ring and Ethernet Gateway 提供 LAN 與 TCP-IP 中間的橋樑，運轉在 Mainframe之間。 支援 IP 供給Thin Client PC終端機，實行Ethernet或COAX 功能，可利用Visara 1883 Thin Client PC 終端機，切換成Coax 或 Ethernet 功能。
