MIMO天線介紹(1/4) MIMO 全寫為「Multi-input Multi-output」,即是「多重輸入輸出」。
多支發射天線與多支接收天線。 傳輸速率快,比傳統的無線傳輸高出兩倍或更多倍。 可支援 MIMO 技術的Draft-N 2.0 制式的無線網絡產品。 MIMO 是一種在一個無線電通道內傳輸和接收兩個或多個不同數據串流的革命性多維傳輸方法,採用這種技術,系統在每個訊息通道內傳送的數據率將能提高兩倍或更多倍。 MIMO的核心概念為利用多支發射天線與多支接收天線所提供之空間自由度來有效提升無線通訊系統之頻譜效率,以提升傳輸速率並改善通訊品質。

MIMO天線介紹(2/4) 傳統基地台在802.11g傳輸模式下,天線一次送出的資料是54M,而2隻天線的機種也只是2隻天線同時送同一組訊號,所以也就只有54M; 但MIMO是同時送1組訊號並把資料1切為2,用2隻天線同時送出,像高架橋一樣,分上下2層,所以可以傳出2倍的資料,也就是一個頻道重覆用2次,變成108M。 此圖截取自:(電子工程輯:

MIMO天線介紹(4/4) 隔離度 使用MIMO 天線系統是為了解決天線多重路徑衰減的問題,但由於無線產品的為了輕巧易於攜帶,所以體積來也愈來愈小,使得天線與天線過於接近,造成天線之間的隔離度(Isolation)降低,使得基頻信號處理困難、傳輸速度變低,也會造天線之間的破壞性的干涉使得增益降 以一支3天線的 MIMO天線會有S11 、S22 、 S33這三種輸出,而S12 、 S13 、 S23即為此天線隔離度之代號
