Solomon‘s Song of Songs. 2 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth-- for your love is more delightful than wine. 3 Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes; your name is like perfume poured out. No wonder the maidens love you! 4 Take me away with you--let us hurry! Let the king bring me into his chambers. We rejoice and delight in you; we will praise your love more than wine. How right they are to adore you! Song of Songs 1:1-4

4 Marriage love abounds in mutual respect
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground. To the woman he said, “I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.“ -創世紀 Genesis 3:16 又当存敬畏基督的心,彼此顺服。 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ Ephesians 5:21

6 I’ve always wanted to marry someone who felt like home.
Home is a “safe place,” a nurturing one, where people share and understand each other. The people in it do not need to be perfect; instead, they are honest, loving, supportive, and recognize a common humanity that makes all of us vulnerable. You are my home. You are honest. You are loving. You are supportive, and you recognize all of my faults, yet you continue to gently love me day after day. Although I may not always express my gratitude, I feel blessed by God to have you as my home. I can’t offer you much, but I can promise to be your home. I choose to love you, to support you, and to stand by you through the good times and the bad, and to be your best friend and wife for the rest of my life. Step by step, brick by brick, I am hopeful in building a family under God and creating a solid shelter that we will take with us for our entire life. Home, is where the heart is and I promise that my heart will be with you always. You have my whole heart for my whole life. I love you.

Dark am I, yet lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem, dark like the tents of Kedar, like the tent curtains of Solomon. 6 Do not stare at me because I am dark, because I am darkened by the sun. My mother's sons were angry with me and made me take care of the vineyards; my own vineyard I have neglected. 7 Tell me, you whom I love, where you graze your flock and where you rest your sheep at midday. Why should I be like a veiled woman beside the flocks of your friends? Song of Songs 1:5-7

9 I love you. I promise to choose to love you with everything I have for the rest of my life. We’ve been through a bunch of ups and downs, but I have never stopped thanking God that we found each other. You graciously accept and understand me, yet also push me to be a better man and better Christian. When I first met your father, he asked me why I loved you. The answer then is the same as it is now: because of how you love – passionately and selflessly, the way Christ loves us all. As we spend the rest of our lives together, I hope to emulate your example and learn to love just a bit better. We’ve only been together a short, short while as compared to how long we’ll be together after today, but I’ve already changed and grown so much. I’ve seen enormous change and growth from you too – and I know that we’ll continue to challenge each other, and grow together in the future. I promise to stand by you, no matter what God puts in our future. I have no idea what the next year, decade, or lifetime has in store, but I promise to be with you with everything I have until Jesus calls me home. You’re my best friend, and I will do my best to make you as happy as you make me.

If you do not know, most beautiful of women, follow the tracks of the sheep and graze your young goats by the tents of the shepherds. 9 I liken you, my darling, to a mare harnessed to one of the chariots of Pharaoh. 10 Your cheeks are beautiful with earrings, your neck with strings of jewels. 11 We will make you earrings of gold, studded with silver. 12 While the king was at his table, my perfume spread its fragrance. 13 My lover is to me a sachet of myrrh resting between my breasts. 14 My lover is to me a cluster of henna blossoms from the vineyards of En Gedi. 15 How beautiful you are, my darling! Oh, how beautiful! Your eyes are doves. 16 How handsome you are, my lover! Oh, how charming! And our bed is verdant. 17 The beams of our house are cedars; our rafters are firs.. Song of Songs 1:8-17

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.” 17 But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit. 18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
