我信其受難於般雀比辣多居官時被釘十字架死而乃瘞。 我信其降地獄第三日自死者中復活。 我信其升天坐於全能者天主父之右。 我信其日後從彼而來審判生死者。 我信聖神。 我信有聖而公聖教會諸聖相通功。 我信罪之赦。 我信肉身之復活。 我信常生。阿門。 信經

7 榮福一端：耶穌復活 在天我等父者， 我等願爾名見聖，爾國臨格， 爾旨承行于地如于天焉。 我等望爾，今日與我， 我日用糧，而免我債，
如我亦免負我債者， 又不許我陷于誘感， 乃救我于凶惡。阿們。 1- The Resurrection of Jesus Christ After the Sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, approached, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it. His appearance was like lightning and his clothing was white as snow. The guards were shaken with fear of him and became like dead men. Then the angel said to the women in reply, "Do not be afraid! I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised just as he said. (Mathew 28:1-6)

Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures. And he said to them, "Thus it is written that the Messiah would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day and that repentance, for the forgiveness of sins, would be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And (behold) I am sending the promise of my Father upon you; but stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high." Then he led them (out) as far as Bethany, raised his hands, and blessed them. As he blessed them he parted from them and was taken up to heaven. (Luke 24:44-51)

如我亦免負我債者， 又不許我陷于誘感， 乃救我于凶惡。阿們。 4- The Assumption Of Our Blessed Mother Body And Soul Into Heaven "Almighty God has lavished his special affection upon the Virgin Mary, for the honor of her Son, the immortal King of the Ages and the Victor over sin and death, for the increase of the glory of that same august mother, and for the joy and exultation of the entire Church; by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, of the blessed apostles Peter and Paul, and by our own authority, we pronounce, declare, and define it to be a divinely revealed dogma: that the Immaculate Mother of God, the ever Virgin Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory" (Munificentissimus Deus, 44). Thus did Pope Pius XII, in 1950, define Mary's bodily Assumption into Heaven. "How could you taste death O Immaculate? What shall we call this mystery that takes place in you? Death? In accordance with nature, following the common law, your most holy and blessed soul is handed to the tomb but it did not remain in death and was not destroyed by corruption" (St. John Damascene). The death of Our Lady was a natural passing from this world to the next. It is the dying of the Immaculate one, it is a flawless, immaculate dying. It is a dying without death, a dying that is a falling asleep, a complete surrender into the hands of Christ, so that Our Lady leaves this world with the same purity that she came into it.

For he has looked upon his handmaid's lowliness; behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed." - Luke 1: Citing Pius IX's Bull Ineffabilis Deus, the Supreme Pontiff highlights this maternal dimension of the Blessed Virgin's queenship: "Having a motherly affection for us and being concerned for our salvation, she extends her care to the whole human race. Appointed by the Lord as Queen of heaven and earth, raised above all the choirs of angels and the whole celestial hierarchy of saints, sitting at the right hand of her only Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, she obtains with great certainty what she asks with her motherly prayers; she obtains what she seeks and it cannot be denied her"

The portrait of his mother acted as the counterpart to the portrait of his father, and is related to the latter in terms of line of sight and body posture. The portraits are closely matched to each other in terms of composition. The mother, with a white bonnet, appears as a married woman in a dark red garment. While the latter is recorded in a summary fashion, her physiognomy is depicted meticulously. His mother is holding a rosary in her hand as an expression of her piety, and this gesture is another way in which she is related to the depiction of his father.
