6 Adding Procedure 1: take pre-test
Pre-test Time: 9/14-9/18 (this week only) At the first week, students should go to your desired class and take the pre-test (in class). No pre-test, you lose the eligibility to take the course (special case will be further discussed by Language Center). Based on your pre-test, teachers will decide if you can stay in his/her class or recommend you to other suitable classes.

Time: 9/14-9/25 Adding/Dropping Course Form Step 4 Return your form to Section of Graduate Studies (Mater/phD.) Section of Registrar (Undergraduate) Step 2 Get signature from the instructor and come to Language Center (IB-207) for the other one Step 1 Fill in the Course info Step 3 Finish the rest info and get signatures 1 2 3

10 實用華語班(第一級) Mandarin Chinese Practical (Level 1)
Textbook: Practical Audio-Visual Chinese 2nd Edition Book 1 (Lesson 1~ Lesson 6) Listening： Able to understand simple daily sentences. Speaking： Able to use simple sentences to introduce, require price, order meal, express basic personal feelings…etc. Reading： Learn 265 vocabularies about self-introduction, buying things, expressing self interests…etc. Writing： Able to write pinyin correctly and some basic characters.

11 實用華語班(第二級) Mandarin Chinese Practical (Level 2)
Textbook: Practical Audio-Visual Chinese 2nd Edition Book 1 (Lesson 7 ~ Lesson 12) Purpose: To help students build up ability of communication in Chinese so that they can live and study in Taiwan more easily. Activities: Practice, singing, role play, exercise. Brief introduction to Chinese cultural festivals.

Textbook: Practical Audio-Visual Chinese 2nd Edition Book 2 (Lesson 1 ~ Lesson 7) Purpose: To enable students to express some simple ideas, opinions, etc. in Chinese. To encourage students to be willing to improve themselves by trial and error. Activities: Practice, singing, role play, exercise. Brief introduction to Chinese cultural festivals.
