3 草創初期 2005~2009 TFEP period Emergency Preparedness Working Group was known as Task Force for Emergency Preparedness (TFEP) in APEC In response to 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami, 18 members attended the meeting of the TFEP, Bali, Indonesia, 2-3 April 2005 TFEP was established by Senior Officials in 2005 to coordinate and facilitate emergency and disaster preparedness and response within APEC. no involvement of emergency relief 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami 3

the First Senior Officials’ Meeting, the Task Force was approved to be upgraded to a permanent working group. On June 2, 2010, in Sapporo, Japan During the second meeting of the SOM Steering Committee on ECOTECH (SCE), the Terms of Reference (ToR) of the Emergency Preparedness Working Group (EPWG) and the first Co-Chairs of Australia and Indonesia Incumbent Co-Chairs: Chinese Taipei and Viet Nam

7 配合議題辦理活動 APEC大規模災難復原重建研討會(Workshop on Large-Scale Disaster Recovery in APEC) 2008年9月22~25日台北與台中921重建踏勘 2008年9月25~27日四川成都重災區踏勘 美國國務院公於記者會中表示『非常、非常出色』的成果，並表示這是亞太經濟合作會議架構下可引為模範的工作 APEC減災長期能力建構架構研討會(Workshop on the Framework of Long-Term Capacity Building for Disaster Risk Reduction in APEC) 2009年11月30日至12月1日於台北舉行 列入APEC雙部長會議2009年11月12日閉幕聯合聲明 未來將建立TFEP的網站與電子報

9 APEC Workshop on Private Sector Emergency Preparedness in 2011
The first international workshop after the Great East Japan Earthquake The purpose of workshop is to enhance capacity in the Asia-Pacific to protect business, trade and economic growth, as well as communities, from disruption caused by disasters. This workshop focus on strengthening public-private partnership capacity for emergency preparedness and BCP.

11 跨論壇合作(2) SMEWG Attending the 34th Meeting of the APEC SMEWG
25 ~ 26 April 2012 Brunei Darussalam To share the achievements done by EPWG To find more requests on EPWG in helping SMEs to build up cross-for collaboration on business continuity plan. Chinese Taipei will do a progress report about the MYP.

跨論壇合作(2) with SMEWG Focal Point Network & Expert Meeting A joint meeting that brought experts and delegates from both APEC SMEWG and EPWG together Extensive discussions on experts’ tasks and focal points’ role Formulation of “Guidelines on Promoting SME Business Continuity Plans to Strengthen Reliability of Supply Chains” 12 Experts from EPWG Steering Committee 9 SMEWG Project Experts 12 SMEWG Delegates In this symposium, there are totally 484 participants attending with 19 speakers and 8 delegates from 15 economies. We would like to pay special thanks to supports from USA, Japan, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Chile, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, and Vietnam.

13 跨論壇合作(3) HRDWG Attending the 8 APEC Future Education Forum
May 22 ~ 23, 2012 Gyeongju, Korea To deliver a keynote remarks emphasizing importance of disaster reduction education in school. To discuss future collaboration between HRDWG and EPWG.

14 經驗分享 -1/3 擔任其他會員國的co-sponsor 培養合作關係，暸解各國的提案背景，與遊戲規則 全力協助其他會員體的計畫
協助填寫QAF 透過滾雪球的方式把機會做大，大家一起參加 EPWG下我國幾乎都會被邀請擔任 直接參與別人的活動 建立與各國的實質夥伴關係

15 經驗分享 -2/3 積極參與小組內之倡議 與Program Director保持暢通的聯繫管道 明瞭 APEC重要文件
例如: steering committee，取得主動倡議權 積極參與組內各項文件的審議，並表達建議 與Program Director保持暢通的聯繫管道 讓PD願意請你幫忙協助 明瞭 APEC重要文件 例如APEC Growth Strategy 利用本身的優勢取得議題的主導權 提案前取的多數的共識

16 經驗分享 -3/3 主動與各會員體窗口的互動 有計劃推動活動，提升於工作小組內之重要性 APEC外的國際交流活動
利用本身的資源，發揮邊際效應 取得與各窗口直接對會的管道 培養「友我」的團隊 有計劃推動活動，提升於工作小組內之重要性 2008，大規模災害復原重建研討會 2009，長期減災能力建構研討會 2010，建置網站與電子報 給自己與其他國家一起創造參與的機會 將下一次的種子埋入會議結論，並送交工作組會議

17 成果報告及其運用 活動辦理完成後 撰寫評估報告（固定表格）->送秘書處 撰寫成果報告->提交正式會議 建議事項的產生方式
建議事項部分可作為未來類似活動的參考基礎；或可作為發展最佳範例準則制定的參考 建議事項的產生方式 於活動期間，由主辦及協辦代表舉行非正式討論(邀請各會員政府代表自願方式參加，共同草擬摘要演講重點及提出建議事項 請專業紀錄人員協助 列入AMM與AELM的正式文件。
