Let me start in giving you a bit of information on United Parcel Service. For the past 95 years, UPS has continually redefined itself to meet the changing market needs. Today we are the World’s Largest Express Carrier and package distribution Company, and a leading provider of specialized transportation and logistics services…. 15 亞太區UPS 亞太區曾經獲得The UPS Foundation的國家包括澳洲, 菲律賓和泰國, 捐贈項目如下:
泰國 - 興建兩所學校給偏遠地區的學童 澳洲 - 添置車輛接載殘疾兒童 菲律賓 - 興建9所房屋給貧民

16 香港UPS 於1999年, 捐贈款項於協康會建設Snoezelen Room(多感官室)給予位於元朗水邊圍中心作訓練用途, 已經為200多名由2歲至6歲的殘疾兒童提供訓練。 多感官室可讓兒童得到樂趣和滿足感, 並加強他們的專注力, 幫助穩定情緒, 以及減低自我剌激行為。

17 香港UPS 於2002年, 捐贈款項給匡智會(Hong Chi Association)為兩間日間訓練中心增設“TEEACH” 教學室, 分別位於上水太平村及藍田 “TEEACH” 教學室是一間專為患有自閉症的智障人士而設的, 以提供日常生活技巧及簡單的工作技能訓練。此教學室的中文命名為 “我的天地室”。
