徒 Acts 17:22–23 (NIV) 22 Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: “Men of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. 23 For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god. 30 “Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, 31 because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead.” 30世人蒙昧無知的時候，神並不監察，如今卻吩咐各處的人都要悔改. 31因為他已經定了日子，要藉著他所設立的人，按公義審判天下‧並且叫他從死裡復活，給萬人作可信的憑據‧

Among them was Dionysius, a member of the Areopagus, also a woman named Damaris, and a number of others.
