Here we focus on ABB’s typical robot product IRB120 robot, part of ABB’s latest 6-axis industrial robots. IRB 120 ABB's smallest ever multipurpose industrial robot weighs just 25kg and can handle a payload of 3kg (4kg for vertical wrist) with a reach of 580mm. It is a cost-effective and reliable choice for generating high production outputs in return for low investment. A white finish Clean Room ISO 5 (Class 100) version, certified by IPA, is also available.

HRG-HD1XKA industrial robot skills assessment training platform(Professional Edition), as shown in figure 4-13, is an universal six-axis robot training platform, can be installed with any brand of compact six-axis robot, combined with a variety of automation mechanism, with standardized teaching modules for industrial applications, can be used for teaching of industrial robot virtual simulation, PLC, programming, etc. It is mainly used for teaching and skills assessment of industrial robot technician.

Figure Basic module The teaching plate of the basic module contains :circular groove, square groove, regular hexagonal groove, triangular groove, spline groove, and an XOY coordinate system, as shown in figure 4-14.

Manipulating robots, and its fixture move along the above shapes, which can be used to train a simple track teaching. The module can be used for many learnings, such as the calibration of the tool coordinate system and the workpiece coordinate system, straight teaching, arc teaching, curve teaching.
