5 基础物理实验 Fabrication of a pulse counter and the characterization
Necessary devices and components: Signal generator, LED, Solar cell, Arduino(or NI ADC card), resistors, OP chip, DC power source The signal generator is used to drive the LED with square wave. Solar cell is used as the detector. As the first step: students should build a device to count the pulse. Second: they should figure out which parameters of the device they built have influence on the dynamic range of the counting rate. Third: finish an improved version of design which has a larger dynamic range than the original version.
