11 電子紙顯示器 所謂電子紙，是指像紙一樣薄、可擦寫的顯示器，是專門用於閱讀的電子科技裝置。由於對比度較高、文字清晰、支援螢幕手寫、耗電量是液晶顯示器的1／10至1／100左右，並且能夠輕輕彎曲，也可作為電子紙手寫平板電腦。 2006年底起，電子紙的進展速度已令人驚奇連連，2007年也會是電子紙開始實用化普及化的一年！ 2007年4月17日，Intel於北京IDF大會上，結合電子紙展出全新概念的行動電腦「Metro」，它擁有一個皮革外套，表面擁有一個7吋的 E-Ink電子紙，系統可直接更新電子紙的記憶體，就算是系統電源已關，電子紙張內容仍保持顯示。 日本可說是把電子書的應用發揮最好的國家， Panasonic在2003年就推出ΣBook電子書， Sony eBook Reader產品至2006年底，才在北美正式量產販售，還出現缺貨現象。
