1st century believers were mostly Jews 第一世纪大多是猶太信徒 Council of Jerusalem (Acts 15) 耶路撒冷大會（徒15） Paul deals with this in Romans chap 保羅的觀點（羅9-11） Christianity distanced from Jewish roots in 325 AD 基督教自主後 325年漸漸與猶太人的根源分離 What are some of the Jewish roots of our faith? 我們的信仰中有什 麼與猶太人相連的根據？

3 I. Monotheism 一神論 One Triune God = complex unity 三一神（複雜的合一）

7 Conclusion 總結 Gentile believers do not have to become Jews, adopt Judaism, or follow Jewish traditions 外邦信徒毋須成為猶太人、 入猶太 教、 守猶太人的規條 However, understanding Jewish roots helps understand God’s redemption plan for mankind 認識猶太人的根源有助我們明白 神對世人救贖的計劃 God’s relationship to Israel helps us in our relationship with Him 認識神和以色列的關係有助我們與神的關係 Olive tree figure – Romans 11:16-24 橄欖樹枝的喻表： 羅 11:16-24 Remember Romans 1:16 “. . .to the Jew first” …先是猶太人： 羅1:16
