2 1977年的一部電影，描述一位女音樂家奮發向上的故事，靠著努力而克服了愛情與事業無法兼顧的難題。
本片主題曲 You Light Up My Life，獲得1978年奧斯卡與金球獎最佳電影主題曲大獎；問世30年以來，被無數次的翻唱。 (像是LeAnn Rimes以及擁有天籟之聲的11歲天才少女Bianca Ryan；鄧麗君唱過華語版；)

3 最值得一提的是Debby Boone的重新
翻唱。不但登上冠軍寶座，還連續蟬 聯十周單曲的冠軍，而她也獲得葛萊 美獎「最佳新進藝人獎」. Debby Boone表示她是以對神的愛慕、向神禱告的心情而唱。也因此，她也一直將神當作是演唱的對象！ 之後這首歌就常被教會聚會使用；某些「現代詩歌」專輯也有收錄「你照亮我的生命」。
