4 扶輪基金會近年來年度捐獻 245.7 223.8 而看看最近幾年扶輪基金會年度捐獻總額，在 捐獻總額達到最高峰，這裡面當然有比爾蓋茲基金會的一億美元的捐款，但是在各項數據還是歷年最高的。 雖然受到金融海嘯的衝擊，全世界的扶輪社友還是很慷慨的捐獻。

5 近年來年度計畫基金捐獻 在年度計畫基金捐獻的部份，自 起，年度計畫基金的捐獻逐年增加，到 達到最高峰。 雖然受到金融海嘯的影響，年度計畫基金的捐獻還是歷年第三高。這張統計各位能看出什麼意義？這與EREY的推動有關。燒後我們會再討論。 KEY POINTS Every Rotarian, Every Year, which raises money for the Annual Programs Fund, encourages every Rotarian to give something to The Rotary Foundation every year. Goal of US$100 per capita worldwide. Since the implementation of Every Rotarian, Every Year – the growth of our Annual Programs fund has been impressive by any standard. As you may know, for several years Annual Programs Fund contributions ranged between $55 million and $65 million. Since the launch of EREY, here’s how contributions have grown: From June of 04 to June of 09, contributions to APF have grown approximately 40%. An extra $28.8 million in five years -- $14.4 million returning as District Designated Funds for projects like: matching grants, ambassadorial scholars, peace fellows, GSE teams. And another $14.4 million available to all districts for programs supported by the World Fund. Contributions to Annual Programs Fund in at $99.3 million were the third highest in the Foundation’s history. What are some of the ways, districts are achieving such tremendous results? 單位：百萬美元

Possible answers: tax incentives; role of government vs. charity in different cultures; the culture of charitable giving in the US or the Permanent Fund Initiative was started in the US. The total net assets and expectancies of the Permanent Fund as of 30 September 2009 is $605.3 million. That includes $416.8 in expectancies and $188.5 in net assets. The Rotary Foundation’s Permanent Fund goal is $1 billion by 2025. The challenge is to grow the Permanent Fund through major gifts. Let’s see how major gift support is being allocated by donors. (next slide)

13 鼓勵捐獻的策略─激發熱情 設定地區目標 透過宣導與教育訓練 以實際的故事感動扶輪社友 扶輪領導人以身作則
要求扶輪社社長當選人設定年度捐獻目標 推動EREY 推動保羅哈里斯協會PHS 鼓勵巨額捐獻 獎勵措施 要扶輪社員慷慨解囊，對扶輪基金捐獻，一定要激發他們的熱情。 像3470地區在台灣7個地區當中，經濟狀況相對較差，每年不可能有許多巨額捐獻者。所以我們就要鼓勵更多的扶輪社友作捐獻。像EREY以及PHS就很適用於我們

2003~04: 100% Rotary Foundation Sustaining Member Club 2004~05: Set club contribution goal 為了迎接扶輪百週年慶，2001立法會議設定 的APF捐獻目標為平均每位社友100美元。 為了達成這個目標， 推出100%扶輪基金贊助會員扶輪社(扶輪社每位扶輪社員在年度內向APF捐獻至少US$100 2004~05 要求扶輪社設定APF捐獻目標，並在2004年7月1日提出EREY口號 我們看到自從這兩個年度開始，APF增加很快

24 保羅哈里斯協會PHS 承諾每年捐獻1,000美元(年度計劃基金、根除小兒麻痺等疾病計劃、根除小兒麻痺等疾病夥伴計劃及人道獎助金計劃 )
有誰知道保羅哈里斯協會？ 只要您承諾今後每年要向扶輪基金會的年度計畫基金(或指定捐獻－包括消除小兒麻痺)捐獻US$1,000就有資格申請為保羅哈里斯協會會員。

25 保羅．哈理斯協會 Paul Harris Society
台灣地區已有六個地區成立保羅．哈理斯協會: 3460地區已有會員人數 8 位 3470地區已有會員人數52位 3480地區已有會員人數30位。 3490地區已有會員人數25位。 3500地區已有會員人數28位。 3510地區已有會員人數31位。 3520地區已有會員人數79位。

26 3470地區保羅哈里斯協會 策略： ─宣導作業 ─總監、前總監、DGE、DGN、DRFC主委以身作則 ─曾經多重捐獻年度計劃基金(多重保羅哈里斯之友)者 ─有希望成為鉅額捐獻者 ─創會會員 ─在地區年會佩章 3470地區今年度剛在地區年會成立，起步最晚，但已經招募到52位會員。 我們所用的策略不外乎是事先的宣導以及透過平日的觀察與聯繫尋找潛在的會員。等到掌握了十幾位會員後就開始由總監發文招募創會會員。結果由於有一個扶輪社社長號召了11位社友加入，在年會以前已經有28位創會會員。

27 這也給我們一個啟示，原來要在保羅哈里斯餐會佩章，改到全體會議曝光率最高的場合由RI社長代表佩章。當場並宣佈在年會結束以前加入者仍然可算創會會員。結果有有好幾個社各報名6-8位。到年會結束時已經有52位創會會員。 貴社如果有人加入保羅哈里斯協會，以後扶輪基金的捐獻救容易達成目標 3470地區保羅哈里斯協會創會會員人數52位

29 利用Membership Account與e-mail註冊
Member Access 作為地區領導人，想要瞭解本地區的捐獻進度，一定要註冊進入Member Access 利用Membership Account與 註冊

30 如何解讀扶輪社捐獻記錄CRS 作為地區總監或地區扶輪基金主委，可以由CRS看出某個扶輪社社員捐獻的狀況，也可以由其中找到潛在的巨額捐獻者。
重點: G: “+”代表該社員為Benefactor J: Recognition Amount表彰金額 N: Foundation Recognition Point基金會表彰積點 M: PHF Date: 成為PHF的時間 O: 最近一次捐獻日期 另外請注意扶輪社帳號中也有捐獻成績，可能的來源是： 配合獎助金的現金捐獻 未附捐獻表單，不知是誰捐的

32 如何解讀每月捐獻報告MCR 對於地區總監與地區扶輪基金主委，可能最關心的是本地區扶輪基金的捐獻進度，以及哪個扶輪社還沒有捐獻。每個月的MCR可以看出捐獻進度 B: 社員人數 C: APF目標 D: APF目標達成率 E: APF人均捐獻額 F: 本月捐獻額 G: 本期(年度)捐獻額 H: 指定捐獻 I: 永久基金 J: 總捐獻金額 K: 地區排名(以APF計算)

永久基金的收益也 支援世界基金 3年之後，原始APF資金平均分配為DDF與世界基金 資金投資孳息3年 對於年度計畫基金 的捐獻 Year 1 3 2 3-H Grants One GSE Team per District each year Matching Grants (matches district and club input) 50% – World Fund Matching Grants District Simplified Grants Ambassadorial Scholarships Rotary Centers Extra GSE Teams or One-Year Cycle GSE 50% – District Designated Funds Fifty percent (50%) of all contributions come back to your district through District Designated Funds (DDF) in three years to spend on educational and humanitarian programs chosen by us; even grants that may be used for projects in our local community. Through the SHARE system, your contributions to the Foundation help both the locally and globally. Here’s an example: Year 1: Your district raised $100,000 in Year 2: $50,000 is available in DDF for programs you select. Year 3: Spending takes place in Programs funded through District Designated Funds include: Matching Grants; District Simplified Grants; Ambassadorial Scholars; Rotary Centers for Int’l Studies; additional Group Study Exchanges, University Teacher Grants etc. The other 50% goes to the World Fund and is used to fund other Foundation programs in which we can participate, such as 3-H Grants, GSE and Matching Grants. (Each district receives one GSE that is funded from the World Fund.) and Volunteer Service Grants. The Rotary Foundation provides a 1:1 match for District Designated Funds (or SHARE) contributions and a 0.5:1 match for new cash contributions for Matching Grants. And, districts can request up to 20 percent of District Designated Funds (DDF) for a grant to support multiple projects locally or internationally. 35 35
