The word disciple literally means “ Learner” Develop the habit, attitude, skills to learn spiritually Learn 學習 Imitate Jesus; Follow Him to love; Bear Fruit; Live a life worthy of the calling of God Follow 效法 Serve with Jesus – to establish the kingdom of God Learn the heart, attitude, mind-set, and skills to serve God Serve 服侍

4 Bearing Fruit 7 你 們 若 常 在 我 裡 面 ， 我 的 話 也 常 在 你 們 裡 面 ， 凡 你 們 所 願 意 的 ， 祈 求 ， 就 給 你 們 成 就 。8 你 們 多 結 果 子 ， 我 父 就 因 此 得 榮 耀 ， 你 們 也 就 是 我 的 門 徒 了 。 8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.

You have to be a tree that has fruit. You have to be in the right conditions.

6 The Right Conditions Fatalism. What can we control?
Not waiting for them. Can we control or can we not? What can we control? Victor is he who can control the controllable and use the uncontrollable.

7 Self Control & Bearing Fruit
From root to fruit. Strong Spiritual habits. Temperance. Not for self but for God & others. Not immediate result but generations. Strong root is to bear fruit. Repetitive exercises for all.

8 Practicing Self Control
Self-denying. Circling each other. Admonishments. Prayers. Running together.

9 種什麼，收什麼。 不要自欺，神是輕慢不得的。 人種的是什麼，收的也是什麼。 順著情慾撒種的，必從情慾收敗壞； 順著聖靈撒種的，必從聖靈收永生。 加拉太書 6: 7-8

10 聖靈果子 聖靈所結的果子，就是 仁愛、喜樂、和平、 忍耐、恩慈、良善、 信實、 溫柔、節制； 這樣的事沒有律法禁止。 凡屬基督耶穌的人，是已經把肉體連肉體的邪情私慾同釘在十字架上了。 加拉太書 5: 22-24

11 順從聖靈 我說，你們當順著聖靈而行，就不放縱肉體的情慾了。 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 我們若是靠聖靈得生，就當靠聖靈行事。 If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. 加拉太書 5: 16,25
