1. Identify business problems: Habitat for Humanity的管理者如何使用計畫、策略、控制，來妥善處理這些捐款和物資。 2. Articulate business problems: 由於和其他社會服務組織相比Habitat for Humanity擁有大量的捐款、物資，因此出現這樣的問題。 假如沒有有效管理組織成員處理這些捐款可能使外界對組織印象不好，而捐款可能漸漸減少，而使組織無法繼續運作。

Gather information applicable: Habitat for Humanity由創始人 Millard 和 Linda Fuller成立於1976年，在1984年美國前總統Jimmy Carter和他的妻子Rosalynn參與了一次計畫，使得Habitat for Humanity在全國的知名度上升，捐款、物資及志工的投入都開始急遽增加。如今， Habitat for Humanity幫助建造或修復超過80萬的房子，使成千上萬的人能夠對生活有新的希望。

Analyze information applicable: 由於前總統參加了一次相關的計畫使Habitat for Humanity擁有大量知名度，因此慕名而來的人非常踴躍的捐款和物資，導致這組織雖然有極高的知名度，但卻必須有很好的管理能力在正確且有效率地運用大量的錢和物資上，才能使計畫成功，吸引更多人提供捐款。

Identify and apply an appropriate tool for solving problems
仔細審核計畫申請人背景，確定是否具備每月還款以及提供勞動工作的能力(如:申請人需列定還款計畫) 每一季根據現有的志工人數和物資數量來訂定提供計劃的數量。(以防服務品質下降) 定期檢查房屋建造進度，以及物資使用情況。(確保物資數量足夠) 確立捐款使用方向，包含提供建造房屋資金以及維持組織營運，並且公開捐款收支明細。
