提幔人以利法回答說：人若想與你說話，你就厭煩嗎？ 但誰能忍住不說呢？ (約伯記 Job 4:1-2)
請你追想：無辜的人有誰滅亡？ 正直的人在何處剪除？ (約伯記 Job 4:7) 7 Consider now: Who, being innocent, has ever perished? Where were the upright ever destroyed?

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

凡事都有定期，天下萬務都有定時。 生有時，死有時；栽種有時，拔出所栽種的也有時；殺戮有時，醫治有時；拆毀有時，建造有時；哭有時，笑有時；哀慟有時，跳舞有時； (傳道書 Ecclesiastes 3:1-4) 1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

他要像一棵樹栽在溪水旁，按時候結果子，葉子也不枯乾。 凡他所做的盡都順利。 (詩篇 Psalm 1:3)
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.
