1 Jansky (Jy) = erg/cm2/sec/Hz 星等 magnitude m = −2.5 × log (Fobs/F0) = −2.5 × log (Fobs)+C F0: 0 等星在此波長的 flux 定義 Vega (A0 type)在所有的波長為 0 等星 原始定義:差五個星等= Flux 差100 倍 負號代表星星越亮,星等越小 Color (色指數) mλ1- mλ2 = -2.5 × log (Fobs(λ1)/Fobs(λ2))+C 使用 color 可消去距離的影響

4 計算星等 儀器星等 minst = −2.5 × log (N F1) 參考星 mref,inst = −2.5 × log (N F1)
F1 : flux of 1 count N : number of count 參考星 mref,inst = −2.5 × log (N F1) mref,real = −2.5 × log (Fref,real)+C 目標星星等 mtarget,real = mtarget,inst+(mref,real − mref,inst )
