3 Introduction CFTR , A chloride channel
The cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) is a 1480 amino acid membrane bound glycoprotein ABC-ATPase proteins. two, six span membrane bound regions(TMS1,TMS2), ATP binding domain. The R-domain is a unique feature of CFTR within the ABC superfamily. The model shows the two transmembrane-spanning domains (TMS1 and TMS2), the two nucleotide binding domains (NBF1 and NBF2), and the regulatory domain (R). 使用NBD1(P25)作搜尋不易找出於與P25/26相對位置相同的protein 故無法做進一步探討 但與NBD1相似性高的序列,多屬於各種ATPase-family的膜蛋白,似乎也可推知膜蛋白的具有Domain彼此具有相當的同源性
