A。 不能進入安息的原因 The reason for cannot enter into rest 1。因為他們沒有信心與所聽見的道調和。 Because they don’t have the faith to reconcile with the word they heard. 2。因為他們硬着心﹐不肯聽從神的話。 Because they hardened their hearts and disobeyed God’s word. 2

B。 我們必須不看環境﹐單單相信神的應許﹐才能得着屬天的安息﹐因為神是信實的神。 We must pay no attention to the worldly environment and simply believe in God’s promise. Only then will we receive the heavenly peace and rest, for God is a faithful God. 3

希伯来书 3:16-19 16 那时听见他话惹他发怒的是谁呢？岂不是跟着摩西从埃及出来的众人吗？ 17 神四十年之久又厌烦谁呢？岂不是那些犯罪尸首倒在旷野的人吗？ 18 又向谁起誓，不容他们进入他的安息呢？岂不是向那些不信从的人吗？ 19 这样看来，他们不能进入安息是因为不信的缘故了。 4

Hebrews 3:16-19 16 Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? 17 And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed? 19 So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief. 5

希伯来书 4:1-2 我们既蒙留下有进入他安息的应许，就当畏惧，免得我们中间或有人似乎是赶不上了。 2 因为有福音传给我们，像传给他们一样。只是所听见的道于他们无益，因为他们没有信心与所听见的道调和。 6

Hebrews 4:1-2 Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. 2 For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed. 7

Hebrews 4:3-4 3 Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said, “So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’” And yet his works have been finished since the creation of the world. 4 For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: “On the seventh day God rested from all his works.” 9

Daniel 3:16-18 16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” 13

Hebrews 4:8-11 8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience. 15
