Be Disciples of Christ 作基督的門徒 太 Matt 28:18-20; 約 John 8:31; 13:35; 15:8

I. What is a disciple of Christ? 基督的門徒是什么? 教徒 (Church-goers) 信徒 (Believers) 門徒 (Disciples of Christ) 使徒 (Apostles of Christ)

II. We are called to be disciples. 神呼召我們作祂的門徒. (不是教徒;不只是信徒) 太 Matt 4:19; 10:1-10; 11:28-30; 16:24-26; 28:18-20 約 John 8:31; 13:35; 15:8

太 Matt 28:18-20 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” 18 耶穌進前來，對他們說，天上，地下所有的權柄，都賜給我了‧19 所以你們要去，使萬民作我的門徒，奉父子聖靈的名，給他們施洗‧20 凡我所吩咐你們的，都教訓他們遵守，我就常與你們同在，直到世界的末了‧

III. What are the characteristics of disciples of Christ? 基督的門徒有什么特質?

1. They are special people called by God. 他们是神所呼召的特別人. 雅 James 1:18 彼前 1 Pet 1:22-23; 2:9 弗 Eph 1:14; 2:8-10 瑪拉基 Mal 3:17 賽 Isa 43:2

3. They are God’s masterpieces. 他们是神的傑作. (弗 Eph 2:8-10) God’s work for us. (v.8-9) 神為我们所做的工作. God’s work in us. (v.10a) 神在我们裡面所做的工作. God’s work through us. (v.10b) 神藉着我们所做的工作.

弗 Eph 2:8-10 8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—9not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; 4. They are teachable and imitators of Christ. 他們是可教的/基督的效法者. 6. They are partakers and Co-heirs of Christ. 他们是基督的有份者及共同後嗣. 弗 Eph 3:6 腓 Phil 1:7 希 Heb 3:1, 14; 6:4; 12:8 彼後 2 Pet 1:4 羅 Rom 8:17 Not bystanders (不是旁觀者)

7. They keep (hold to) God’s word. 他们遵守神的道. (約 John 8:31; 14:21, 23-24) 31To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (約 John 8:31-32, NIV) 31耶穌對信他的猶太人說，你們若常常遵守我的道，就真是我的門徒‧32你們必曉得真理，真理必叫你們得以自由‧

8. They love one another. 他们彼此相愛. (約 John 13:34-35; 約壹 1 John 4:7-12) “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (約 John 13:35, NIV) 你們若有彼此相愛的心，眾人因此 就認出你們是我的門徒了‧

彼前 1 Peter 1:3–5 (NASB) 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 3願頌讚歸與我們主耶穌基督的父神，他曾照自己的大憐憫，藉耶穌基督從死裡復活重生了我們，叫我們有活潑的盼望, 4可以得著不能朽壞，不能玷污，不能衰殘，為你們存留在天上的基業‧5你們這因信蒙神能力保守的人，必能得著所預備，到末世要顯現的救恩‧
