Matthew 馬太福音 20:20-22 20 那時，西庇太兒子的母親同她兩個兒子上前來拜耶穌，求他一件事。 21 耶穌說：「你要甚麼呢？」她說：「願你叫我這兩個兒子在你國裡，一個坐在你右邊，一個坐在你左邊。」 22 耶穌回答說：「你們不知道所求的是甚麼；我將要喝的杯，你們能喝嗎？」他們說:「我們能」  20 Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Him with her sons, kneeling down and asking something from Him. 21 And He said to her, “What do you wish?” She said to Him, “Grant that these two sons of mine may sit, one on Your right hand and the other on the left, in Your kingdom.” 22 But Jesus answered and said, “You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to Him, “We are able.” (NKJV)

Self-Seeking This Is Who We Are

Sacrificial Love

Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to Him, “We are able.” Matthew馬太 26:39  39 他(耶穌)就稍往前走，俯伏在地，禱告說：「我父啊，倘若可行，求你叫這杯離開我。然而，不要照我的意思，只要照你的意思。」 Going a little farther, he (Jesus) fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

Matthew 馬太福音 20:26-28 26 只是在你們中間，不可這樣；你們中間誰願為大，就必作你們的用人； 27 誰願為首，就必作你們的僕人。 28 正如人子來，不是要受人的服事，乃是要服事人，並且要捨命，作多人的贖價。」   26 Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.27 And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” 大 Great vs. 佣人 Servant 首First vs. 僕人 Slave 受人服事to be served vs. 服事人 to serve 坐左右 sit on the throne vs. 捨命 die & sacrifice for others
