1 John 1:1-9 - 1 What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life 2 (and the life was manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us) 3 what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. 4 These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete. 5 This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; 7 but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 約翰一書 1:1-9 - 1:1 論到從起初原有 的生命之道，就是我們所聽見、所看見、 親眼看過、親手摸過的。 1:2 （這生命 已經顯現出來，我們也看見過，現在又 作見證，將原與父同在、且顯現與我們 那永遠的生命、傳給你們。） 1:3 我們將所看見、所聽見的傳給你們， 使你們與我們相交。我們乃是與父並他 兒子耶穌基督相交的。 1:4 我們將這些話寫給你們，使你們的 喜樂充足。 1:5 神就是光，在他毫無黑暗。這是我 們從主所聽見、又報給你們的信息。 1:6 我們若說是與神相交，卻仍在黑暗 裡行，就是說謊話，不行真理了。 1:7 我們若在光明中行，如同神在光明 中，就彼此相交，他兒子耶穌的血也洗 淨我們一切的罪。 1:8 我們若說自己無罪，便是自欺，真 理不在我們心裡了。 1:9 我們若認自己的罪，神是信實的， 是公義的，必要赦免我們的罪，洗淨我 們一切的不義。

1 John 2:27 - As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you,  you abide in Him. 1 John 3:14 - We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death.  1 John 3:20-21 - in whatever our heart condemns us; for God is greater than our heart and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; 1 John 3:24 - The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 約翰一書 2:27 - 你們從主所受的恩膏常 存在你們心裡，並不用人教訓你們，自 有主的恩膏在凡事上教訓你們。這恩膏 是真的，不是假的；你們要按這恩膏的 教訓住在主裡面。 約翰一書 3:14 - 我們因為愛弟兄，就曉 得是已經出死入生了。沒有愛心的，仍 住在死中。 約翰一書 3:20-21 - 我們的心若責備我 們，神比我們的心大，一切事沒有不知 道的。親愛的弟兄啊，我們的心若不責 備我們，就可以向神坦然無懼了。 約翰一書 3:24 - 遵守神命令的，就住在 神裡面；神也住在他裡面。我們所以知 道神住在我們裡面是因他所賜給我們的 聖靈。

約翰一書 4:7-9 - 親愛的弟兄啊，我們 應當彼此相愛，因為愛是從神來的。凡 有愛心的，都是由神而生，並且認識神。 沒有愛心的，就不認識神，因為神就是 愛。 神差他獨生子到世間來，使我們藉 著他得生，神愛我們的心在此就顯明了。 約翰一書 4:13 - 神將他的靈賜給我們， 從此就知道我們是住在他裡面，他也住 在我們裡面。 約翰一書 4:15 - 凡認耶穌為神兒子的， 神就住在他裡面，他也住在神裡面。 約翰一書 5:1- 凡信耶穌是基督的，都 是從神而生，凡愛生他之神的，也必愛 從神生的。 約翰一書 5:13 - 我將這些話寫給你們信 奉神兒子之名的人，要叫你們知道自己 有永生。 1 John 4:7-9 - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 1 John 4:13 - By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 1 John 4:15 - Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 1 John 5:1- Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and whoever loves the Father loves the child born of Him. 1 John 5:13 - These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

前言： 什麽是“永生”(永遠的生命) ？ “永生”不是世上的人所说的“长生不老”、“万寿无疆”。人的肉体是必朽坏的，总要死的，人的寿命是有限的。而永生是指那位永远存在、创造万物的真神的永不朽坏的无限生命。 我们得永生，就是得到 神的生命。这个属灵的新生命是从 神生的。 Introduction: What is eternal life (the everlasting life)? Eternal life is not what is referred to by the people of this world when they hope to live this life in flesh forever. Our human flesh will decay and die one day. Human life has a limited span. But eternal life refers to the everlasting and never changing life of God who is eternal. To receive eternal life is to receive life of God. This spiritual life is born from God.

I. How do we receive eternal life？ 約翰一書 5:1- 凡信耶穌是基督的，都是從 神而生，凡愛生他之神的，也必愛從神生 的。 約翰一書 5:13 - 我將這些話寫給你們信奉 神兒子之名的人，要叫你們知道自己有永 生。 其他经文： 約翰福音 3:16 約翰福音 1:12、13 羅馬書 10:9 I. How do we receive eternal life？ 1 John 5:1- Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and whoever loves the Father loves the child born of Him. 1 John 5:13 - These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. II. How do we know we have eternal life？ 約翰一書 5:13 - 我將這些話寫給你 們信奉神兒子之名的人，要叫你們 知道自己有永生。 這節經文就是耶穌基督的使徒約翰 写這封書信的主要目的。 原文聖經的“知道”與 “知識”和 “學問”是不同的字。“知道”的 原文字義是指“在極多種應用中的 知道” 所以知道自己有永生，不是知识上 或仪式上的知道，而是指可以亲自 在生活经历中的知道。 II. How do we know we have eternal life？ 1 John 5:13 - - These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. This verse points to the primary purpose of this epistle written by Apostle John. In the original language, the word “know” is a different word than “knowledge”. “Know” means“to know in a great variety of applications”. Therefore, to know that you have eternal life is not a matter of having mere knowledge or a ritual, but to actually experience it in real life.

II. How do we know we have eternal life？ II. 我們如何知道自己有永生？ We may know that we have eternal life from several aspects： 1. Fellowship in the light with other members of the body - Verse：1 John 1:1-3,7 (Note: In the origin language, the word “fellowship” means “partnership” and “partaking “, indicating fellowship in close spiritual relationship.) 2. In the light of God, come to be aware of our sin and confess our sins, and commit no sin habitually - Verses: 1 John 1:5-6, 8-10; 1 John 3:20-21; 1 John 3:9,10a 3. Keep in heart the Word of Life, and keep God’s commandments - Verses: 1 John 2:24-25 (see 1 John 1:1); 1 John 2:3; 1 John 3:24a 4. Abide in the love of God, and love one another - Verses: 1 John 3:14,16； 1 John 4:7-9, 12, 16 5. The Holy Spirit dwells in us and teaches us on all things - Verses: 1 John 3:24b；1 John 4:13；1 John 2:27 (see John 14:26）; Col. 3:15a II. 我們如何知道自己有永生？ 我们可从下面几点来知道我們有永生： 1. 在 神的光中與主和眾肢體有交通 經文：約一 1:1-3,7 （注：和合本中文的“相 交”應為“交通”。 原文的字義是“合夥關 係”，“共同分享”，表明這是屬靈親密關係的 交通。） 2. 在 神的光中能知罪認罪，不習慣犯罪 經文：約一 1:5-6, 8-10; 約一 3:20-21; 約 一 3:9,10上 3. 將生命的道存在心裡，並遵守主的命令 經文：約一 2:24-25 (參見約一 1:1); 約一 2:3; 約一 3:24上 4. 住在 神的愛里，彼此相愛 經文： 約一 3:14,16； 約一 4:7-9, 12, 16 5. 有聖靈住在裏面在凡事上教導我們 經文： 約一 3:24下；約一 4:13； 約一 2:27 （參約 14:26）；西3:15 上

III. We can experience and live out eternal life now 1 John 5:20； Philippians 2:15b, 16a Not only do we know we have eternal life, we may also walk in the light of God, live in the love of God, fellowship with the Lord of glory and brothers and sisters in spirit, and love one another. What grace and blessing! Just as said in 1 John 1:4b, “so that your joy may be full.” Lord Jesus Christ is true God, and is also eternal life. He who lives in Christ lives in eternal life. We should unceasingly experience and live out this eternal life (which is Christ), manifest the Word of Life, until we are molded into the image of His Son (Romans 8:29). “When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory,” (Col. 3:4) and will be with our Lord who loves us forever. Emanuel! III. 我們現在就可以經歷永生活出永生 經文： 約一 5:20；腓 2:15下，16上 我們不但知道自己有永生，而且可以行 在 神的光中、活在 神的愛裡, 與榮耀的 主和弟兄姊妹有屬靈的交通，並彼此相 愛。這是何等的恩典和福氣！正如約一 1:4下所說，“使我們的喜樂充足”。 主耶穌基督就是真神，也是永生。凡在 基督裡的就活在永生里。我們的一生要 不斷地經歷和活出這個永生（基督）， 將生命的道表明出來，直到按 神的定旨 被模成祂兒子的形象 （羅 8:29）。 “基督是我們的生命，祂顯現（再來） 的時候，我們也要與祂一同顯現在榮耀 里”（西 3:4），與愛我們的主永遠在 一起。 以馬內利！
