1) 作一個會聽話的人 Be a good listener - 要快快地聽，慢慢地說 be swift to hear, slow to speak (雅各書 James 1:19b) - 你們的耳朵也是有福的，因為聽見了 blessed are … your ears for they hear (馬太福音 Matthew 13:16b)
- 神在古時藉著眾先知,多次多方地曉諭 列祖… God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets (希伯來書 Hebrews 1:1-2a)
2) 要叫(讓)基督的平安在你們心裡做主 Let the peace of God rule in your hearts (歌羅西書 Colossians 3:15a) - 你們也為此蒙召，歸為一體 To which also you were called in one body (歌羅西 書 Colossians 3:15b)
- 基督是包括一切，又住在各人之內。 Christ is all and in all (歌羅西書 Colossians 3:10,11) - 總要彼此包容，彼此饒恕 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another (歌羅西書 Colossians 3:13)
- 生氣卻不要犯罪，不可含怒到日落 Be angry, and do not sin: do not let the sun go down on your wrath (以弗所書 Ephesians 4:26,31)
3) 存溫柔的心領受那所栽種的道 Receive with meekness the implanted word (雅各書 James 1:21) - 能救你們靈魂的道 which is able to save your souls
- 行(活)在生命光中,不斷與主交通 Living in the light of life, before Him, day and night (約翰一書 1 John 1:5a,7,3)
- 要用水藉著道把教會洗淨 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word (以弗所書 Ephesians 5:26) - 可以獻給自己，做個榮耀的教會 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church (以弗所書 Ephesians 5:27)
