4 畫家生平簡介  迪亞哥 ˙ 委拉斯蓋茲 ( Diego Velazquez )(1599~1660)  早年在出生地塞維亞學習繪畫，並展現出其繪畫才能  1622 年, 前往馬德里尋找工作，隔年受到國王菲力 4 世讚賞，  1624 年開始在宮廷供職  1629 年第一次到義大利遊歷，畫了不少風景畫， 1631 回國後，  國王給予其畫室鑰匙，並一同在國內旅行，創作許多肖像畫  1648 年再次造訪義大利，為國王收購藝術品，並與法國畫家普桑 ( Nicolas Poussin ) 、 克勞德 ˙ 洛蘭 ( Claude Lorrain ) 結為好友。後為感謝教皇英諾森十世（ Pope Innocent X ） 的款待，為其畫肖像畫。  1651 年回國後，提升為「宮廷總管」，並創作了《鏡前的維納斯》 ( La Venus del espejo ) 。  1656 年創作出《侍女》 ( Las Mininas ) 、《紡紗女》 ( The Spinners ) 兩幅名作 自畫像, 約於 1643 年繪 成

5 教皇英諾森十世像， 1650 年作，畫中 教皇坐在椅子上，身體微傾，狹長的 臉上眉頭緊鎖，眼神威嚴，鷹勾鼻與 緊閉的雙唇，身著紅色僧衣與白色的 襯衣、綢裙。可以看到這幅畫中，教 皇僧衣上的光澤、襯裙的紋路、甚至 背後的暗紅色帷幕都表現得十分生動。 現收藏於羅馬多里亞畫廊。

6 鏡前的維納斯 ( La Venus del espejo ) ，這幅畫 在當時宗教嚴厲的西班牙境內是罕見的裸 體畫，也是委拉斯蓋茲目前現存中唯一的 裸體畫。畫中維納斯正照著鏡子，而邱比 特則幫忙扶著鏡子。現收藏於倫敦國家美 術館。

10 瑪佳麗塔 ˙ 德蕾莎公主 (1651~1673) ，國王菲力四世與瑪 麗安娜之女。她是西班牙哈布斯堡王朝最後一位皇帝卡 洛斯二世的姐姐，同時也是和神聖羅馬帝國皇帝利奧波 德一世 ( Leopold I ) 的皇后。此幅畫為公主 5 歲時，委拉斯 蓋茲為其畫的肖像畫。

19 國王菲力 4 世 ( Felipe IV ) 與王后瑪麗安娜 ( Mariana of Austria )

20 菲力四世 (1605~1665) ，西班牙哈布斯堡王朝國 王， 1621~1665 年在位，同時是南尼德蘭的領主 兼任葡萄牙國王至 1640 年。 奧地利的瑪麗安娜 (1634~1696) ，菲 力四世的第二任妻子，在菲力四世去 世後，成為了她兒子－卡洛斯二世的 攝政王。
