YFBI Jesus did not come to abolish the law Matt 5:17你們不要以為我來是要廢除律法和先知；我 來不是要廢除，而是要完成。 廢除 (καταλῦσαι) = complete destruction 完成 = fulfill = bring to a full meaning 18 我實在告訴你們、就是到天地都廢去了、律法的一 點一畫也不能廢去、都要成全。[to be, to become] 19 所以無論何人廢掉這誡命中最小的一條、又教訓人這 樣作、他在天國要稱為最小的．但無論何人遵行這誡 命、又教訓人遵行、他在天國要稱為大的。20我告訴 你們、你們的義、若不勝於文士和法利賽人的義、斷 不能進天國。 Jesus’ illustration – moral law 21 你們聽見有吩咐古人的話、說、『不可殺人、』又 說、『凡殺人的、難免受審判。』

YFBI Eph 2:15基督就是我們的和平：他使雙方 合而為一，拆毀了隔在中間的牆，就是以 自己的身體除掉雙方的仇恨， 15 並且廢掉 了律法的規條，使兩者在他裡面成為一個 新人，這樣就締造了和平。 廢掉 (καταργήσας)= nullify render inoperative

9 Purity law abolished YFBI Acts 11: 2 彼得上到耶路撒冷的時候，那 些守割禮的人與他爭論，3說："你竟然 到未受割禮的人那裡，跟他們一起吃 飯！"4彼得就按著次序向他們講解， 說：5 "我在約帕城禱告的時候，魂遊象 外，見到異象：有一件東西，好像一塊 大布，綁著四角，從天上降下來，一直 來到我面前。

YFBI Selected verse from Heb 9-10 Heb 9:1前約也有它敬拜的規例，和屬世 界的聖所。2因為有一個支搭好了的會 幕，第一進叫作聖所，裡面有燈臺、桌子 和陳設餅。 9這第一進會幕是現今的時代的預表，其 實所獻的禮物和祭品，都不能使敬拜的人 在良心上得到完全。 10 這些只是關於飲 食和各樣潔淨的禮儀，是在"更新的時候" 來到之前，為肉體立的規例。

YFBI Selected verse from Heb 9-10 10:1律法既然是以後要來的美好事物的影 子，不是本體的真象，就不能憑著每年獻 同樣的祭品，使那些進前來的人得到完全 2 如果敬拜的人一次得潔淨，良心就不再 覺得有罪，那麼，獻祭的事不是早就停止 了嗎？ 3 可是那些祭品，卻使人每年都想 起罪來，4因為公牛和山羊的血不能把罪 除去。

YFBI 5 所以，基督到世上來的時候，就說："祭品和 禮物不是你所要的，你卻為我預備了身體。 6 燔祭和贖罪祭，不是你所喜悅的； 7 那時我說： '看哪！我來了，經卷上已經記載我的事，神啊！ 我來是要遵行你的旨意。'" 8 前面說："祭品和 禮物，燔祭和贖罪祭，不是你所要的，也不是 你所喜悅的。"這些都是按照律法獻的；9 接著 又說："看哪！我來了，是要遵行你的旨意。" 可見他廢除那先前的，為要建立那後來的。 廢除= to kill, put to death (remove)

14 Problem with the Sabbath
YFBI Is Sabbath ceremonial or moral? Only commandment with a changing reason: Exod 20:9 六日要勞碌，作你一切工作。10但第七 日是耶和華你的神的安息日 Reason: 11因為耶和華在六日之內造天、地、海和 其中的萬物，第七日就歇息了 Deut 5:13六日要勞碌，作你一切工作。14但第七 日是屬於耶和華你神的安息日 Reason: 15你要記住：你在埃及地作過奴僕；耶和 華你的　神用大能的手和伸出來的膀臂，把你從那 裡領出來，因此耶和華你的神吩咐你要守安息日 主日

15 Christians are not keeping Sabbath

YFBI Sacrificial offerings: Gen 8:20挪亞為耶和華築了一座壇、拿各類潔 淨的牲畜、飛鳥、獻在壇上為燔 Circumcision (Gen 17) Gal 6:15 15 受割禮不受割禮、都無關緊要、要 緊的就是作新造的人。

YFBI ANE: all nations have idols & multiple gods (unique in Israel) Scope: “other gods” = idols / deities of foreign nations also referred to invisible gods (Deut 7:17 ;8:17, 19; 9:4) Generalized principle: includes invisible gods – materialisms, wealth, power, fame…etc. App: identify anything thing that replaces God in our hearts and let go of them.

YFBI ANE: practice of swearing by the name of a deity Scope: blaspheme God’s name (Lev 24:1off), swear in the name of God to enhance truthfulness (Matt ) not modern sense of western swearing with Jesus’s name Generalized: making use of God for personal benefits App: doing business “claiming to be Christian” / or in church?
