Guiyang won the reputation of “Cool Guiyang, China’s best summer resort”, because of its fresh air and pleasant climate. Sound Ecological System is the advantage of Guiyang. Guiyang was elected the best eco-city in China in 2013. 2

2012年11月27日，全国首家生态文明建设践行体现——贵阳市生态文明建设委员会挂牌成立。由此，贵阳市的生态文明建设、创建国家环境保护工作又站上了新的起点，成为全国的亮点。 On November 27, 2012, Guiyang established the first eco-civilization construction committee in China. This is a milestone of ecological progress. 6

8 市民的“三口大水缸”红枫湖、百花湖、阿哈水库水质从治理前的五类、劣五类提升到现在的二类、三类，全市饮用水源地水质达标率100%。
Water quality of Hongfeng Lake, Baihua Lake and Aha Reservoir have rated to Grade II and Grade III from the previous Grade V or worse. Thus, the water quality of Guiyang’s drinking water sources has all reached the national standard. Hongfeng Lake Aha Reservoir Baihua Lake 8

9 2012年底启动了PM2.5的实时监测、发布和源解析工作。
At the end of 2012, the management of PM 2.5 has reached real-time monitoring, source analyzing and result-opening. 近年来，贵阳市城市空气质量优良天数保持在96%以上，今年第三季度贵阳空气质量在全国排名前10位。Therefore, in recent years, the days of urban good air quality are above 96%. Moreover, the air quality of Guiyang is ranked as the top 10 in China in the third quarter of 2013. 9
