In groups, ask the students to brainstorm anything flat. Have students lie on a large piece of paper and trace their bodies so they can see how they would look like if they themselves were flat. Post-reading Activity: Do a 5W poem

19 Chapter 2 Take measurements of a partner. For e.g. their arm, ear, eyebrow, etc. Read a letter from Flat Stanley about him visiting the students in Hong Kong. Then in groups, discuss what they would do with him and where they would take him in the city. Students taking measurements of their partners. Students receive a letter from Stanley.
