4 Blessings: Life (生命), health (健康), prosperity (繁榮), agricultural abundance (農產豐裕), respect (敬重), and safety (安全). Curses: Death (死亡), disease (疾病), drought (干旱), dearth (缺乏), danger (危險), destruction (毀滅), defeat (擊敗), deportation (放逐), destitution (窮困), and disgrace (恥辱).

箴 言 17:7 愚 頑 人 說 美 言 本 不 相 宜 ， 何 況 君 王 說 謊 話 呢 ？ Arrogant lips are unsuited to a [shameless] fool— how much worse lying lips to a ruler! 9 愚 頑 人 心 裡 說 ： 沒 有 神 。 他 們 都 是 邪 惡， 行 了 可 憎 惡 的 事； 沒 有 一 個 人 行善。

11 以 賽 亞 書 Isaiah 32:5-8 愚 頑 人 不 再 稱 為 高 明 ， 吝 嗇 人 不 再 稱 為 大 方 。 因 為 愚 頑 人 必 說 愚 頑 話 ， 心 裡 想 作 罪 孽 ， 慣 行 褻 瀆 的 事 ， 說 錯 謬 的 話 攻 擊 耶 和 華 ， 使 飢 餓 的 人 無 食 可 吃 ， 使 口 渴 的 人 無 水 可 喝 。 吝 嗇 人 所 用 的 法 子 是 惡 的 ； 他 圖 謀 惡 計 ， 用 謊 言 毀 滅 謙 卑 人 ； 窮 乏 人 講 公 理 的 時 候 ， 他 也 是 這 樣 行 。 高 明 人 卻 謀 高 明 事 ， 在 高 明 事 上 也 必 永 存 。 No longer will the [shameless] fool be called noble nor the scoundrel be highly respected. For the fool speaks folly, his mind is busy with evil: He practices ungodliness and spreads error concerning the LORD; the hungry he leaves empty and from the thirsty he withholds water. The scoundrel's methods are wicked, he makes up evil schemes to destroy the poor with lies, even when the plea of the needy is just. But the noble man makes noble plans, and by noble deeds he stands.
