II. 阅读理解部分概述 测试要求: (a)能读懂一般英美报刊杂志上的社论、政治和书评,既能理解其主旨和大意,又能分辨出其中的事实与细 节。 (b)能读懂一般历史传记及文学作品,能理解其字面意义及其隐含意义。 (c)能分析上述题材的文章的思想观点,通篇布局,语言技巧及修辞手法。 (D)能够在阅读中调整自己的阅读速度。 (E)考试时间 30分钟题型:采用多项选择题,选一最佳答案,数篇材料组成。含3,000个单词。每篇材料后面有若干小题。共20题。速度:约150个单词/分钟。 选材: A) 题材广泛,社会、文化、科技、经济、日常知识,人物传记 B) 体裁:记叙文、说明文、描写文、议论文、广告、说明书、图表

III人文知识部分概述 测试要求: A) 基本了解主要英语国家的地理、历史、现状、文化传统 B) 初步具备英语文学知识 C) 初步具备英语语言知识 D) 考试时间 10分钟题型 部分采用多选形式,选出一道最佳答案。共10题。 测试范围: A) 英语国家社会和文化知识 B) 英语文学知识 C) 英语语言知识

IV.改错部分概述 测试要求: 要求学生能运用语法、修辞、结构等语言知识识别短文内的语病并提出改正的方法。 题型: 本题由一篇250词左右的短文组成,短文中有10行标有题号。该10行均含有一个语误。以改正语误。考试时间共计15分钟.共10题。

V.翻译部分概述 测试要求: 汉译英项目要求应试者运用汉译英的理论和技巧,翻译我国报刊杂志上的论述文和国情介绍,以及一般文学作品的节录。速度为每小时约 汉字。译文必须忠实原意,语言通顺。 英译汉项目要求应试者运用英译汉的理论和技巧,翻译英、美报刊杂志上有关政治、经济、历史、文化等方面的论述文以及文学原著的节录。速度为每小时约 词。译文要求忠实原意,语言流畅。 题型:本题分为两项:SectionA及SectionB。考试时间共计60分钟。SectionA:A 150词左右的段落被底线划出。要求根据上下文将此段 落译成英语。SectionB:B 150词左右的段落被底线划出。要求根据上下文将此段落译成汉语。
