6 Matthew 21: 8 (NASB) Most of the crowd spread their coats in the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them in the road. 馬太福音 21:8 (和合本) 眾人多半把衣服鋪在路上．還有人砍下樹枝來鋪在路上。

9 Who was this “Jesus”? 1. Matthew 21:5 contains a reference to Zechariah 9:9-10 Zech. 9:9-10 talks about a donkey-riding king who is righteous (公義), humble (謙和的), and endowed (被賦予) with salvation (救恩). A king who speaks peace to the nations. His dominion (權柄) will be from sea to sea, from the River (Euphrates) to the ends of the earth.

10 Who was this “Jesus”? 2. “Hosanna to the Son of David!”
“Hosanna” means “Give salvation now” (Hebrew). It is sometimes used as “glory” or “honor.” The word “Hosanna” is used for the Messiah. The name “Son of David” refers to the descendant of King David through whom salvation comes. (2 Sam. 7) Summary: Jesus was the descendant of King David, the One who brings salvation!

But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. 27 Results of the Cross 1. Propitiation - Satisfaction of divine wrath against sin. 上帝對罪的怒氣被平息了。 2. Reconciliation – Sin being removed, man is brought back into fellowship with God. 除去罪後，上帝與人的和解。 3. Redemption – Change of ownership, from being owned by Sin to being owned by God. 從罪的挾制變成上帝的兒女。
