2 一、何谓方言 1. What is tongue?

5 This is a gift from Holy Spirit to believers to speak unknown tongues even to themselves, of which only God Himself understands. I Cor 14:2

方言是神所赐,又是神自己命定的一种祷告方式,即灵祷。

8 Speaking in tongues is neither a matter of mind, emotion, nor knowledge, but is a spiritual activity. The tongue is gift from God and also as a form of prayer ordained by God, i.e. spiritual prayer.

13 ※ People do not understand the tongues spoken, but they are still praying in the spirit. This definitely has its fundamental meaning and value. It function can be divided into two major aspects.

14 一、对神方面而言 1. According to God

18 约翰福音四：23 时候将到、如今就是了、那真正拜父的、要用心灵和诚实拜他、因为父要这样的人拜他。 John 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

24 哥林多前书十四：16 不然、你用灵祝谢、那在座不通方言的人、既然不明白你的话、怎能在你感谢的时候说阿们呢。 I Corinthians 14:16 Otherwise when you are praising God in the Spirit, how can someone else, who is now put in the position of an inquirer, say “Amen” to your thanksgiving, since they do not know what you are saying?

28 7. Spoke of God’s great work It is because God has done many wonderful and great works which we could not said it all with words, but when we pray in tongues, it is our spirits that are praying, speaking the great works of God.

30 8.信徒用方言向神所献 上的祭品，也就是灵祭， 這灵祭即是结的果子 Believers use tongues to offer sacrifices to God and it is spirituality offerings which is bearing of fruit

31 彼得前书二：5 你们來到主面前、也就像活石、被建造成为灵宮、作圣洁的祭司藉着耶稣基督奉献神所悦纳的灵祭。 Acts 2: 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

32 希伯来书十三：15 我们应当靠着耶稣、常常以颂赞为祭、献给神、这就是那承认主名之人嘴唇的果子。 Hebrew 13: 15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.

62 10. Tongues is praying in the spirit, drawing one closer to God, understanding the truth more, so as to receive spiritual revelation, gifts and visions.

66 Galatians 5: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

67 三、如何说方言灵祷－信徒要靠圣灵多方祷告 祈求,以下是五种说方言之情形:

68 3. How to pray in tongues – Believers have to depend on the holy spirit to pray in many areas, below are five (5) kinds of situations for praying in tongues:

69 以弗所书六：18 靠着圣灵、随时多方祷告祈求、并要在此儆醒不倦、为众圣徒祈求、 Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

70 一、争战夸胜性的方言 大声迫切、嘹亮、旨在靠着圣灵冲破黑暗的权势、败坏、魔鬼的作为，再次被圣灵充满，得着大能力

71 1. Tongues in Victorious fight Loud and eager, piercing, aim to break through the powers of darkness, corruption, the works of the devil and once again filled with the Holy Spirit，receiving great power.

72 以弗所书六：12 因我们并不是与属血气的爭战，乃是与那些执政的、掌权的，管辖这幽暗世界的，以及天空属灵气的恶魔爭战。

73 Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

85 第一种 方言祷告 第二种 说方言的恩赐 第三种 對不信的人作证据的方言 1 每一位信徒都该有种灵的禱告。（林前十四：5 15） 是圣灵九大恩赐其中的一种，不是每一位信徒都可以得到，乃是圣灵随己意分给信徒。（林前十二：4~11） 是一种不常有的方言， 由说方言的人，说出他自己从未学过的地方语言。（徒二：6~7） 2 说的人自己听不懂。 3 对象是 神。 对象是教会会众。 对象是不信的人。 4 功用在乎赞美 神和造就自己 功用在造就、安慰、劝勉会众。（林前十四：3~5） 功用是给不信的人看见这个 神迹，既由未学过的人说出他自己的家乡话，把不信的人引到 神面前。（林前十四：21~22） 5 不須要翻譯，也不能翻譯。（林前十四：2、4、14） 必須由擁有繙方言恩賜的人，把所說的方言繙成會眾聽得懂的語言。 例中文、英文等。（林前十四：27） 圣灵自己掌管说的人的语言。（徒二：6~7）

He distributes them to each one, just as he determines (I Cor1 2:4~11） It is a peculiar tongue because the people spoke the dialects of which were the languages that they had never learnt (Acts 2:6~7) 2 Those who spoken do not understand what was spoken 3 The object is God The object is congregation The object is non-believers 4 Function is to praise God and edify self Function is to build up, comfort and encourage the congregation (1 Cor 14:3~5) Function is to allow non-believers witness the miracles of God when seeing those who had never learnt their dialect but were able to speak, attracting them to God (1 Cor 14:21~22) 5 Need not translate and also cannot be interpreted (1 Cor 14:2,1, 14) Must have those who the gift of interpretation to interpret the tongues into languages that the congregation is able to understand e.g. Mandarin , English etc.、(1Cor14:27) Holy Spirit controls the languages of those who speak（Acts2:6~7)
