8 趙壯奇博士夫婦在安那罕市美南第一浸信會 分享他們的異象後，於一九七四年四月他們開始建立橙縣華人浸信會。 在他們往那裏分享之前一個月，神差派曾在三藩市和羅省植堂的勞多馬牧師到那教會講道，他也提到要開始向華人傳道工作。

11 一九八四年九月神給我們買了現今的地方， 這本屬於安那罕市校區所擁有的產業。趙牧師看過和認許這地點,就來到神面前禱告這地方是否可用作建立橙縣華人浸信會。幾個星期後，我們到那裡投標,以六十四萬而投得這地，原來我們是唯一的應投者﹔過了幾個星期後,有承建商來以一百萬的費用為我們建成這物業。

The Lord provides a pastor for the Mandarin Congregation! B. 耶和华是我的牧者 The LORD is my shepherd (诗Ps23:1)。 祂是与我们同在的主宰 He is the Lord who is always with us! （结Eze48:35） 祂日日牧养我们, 更將得救的人及同工加给我们. The Lord shepherds us everyday and adds new believers and co-workers to us! C. 耶和华是医治 The LORD who heals (出Ex15:26). 祂背负我们的痛苦, 担当我们身心灵的软弱, The Lord has borne our spiritual weaknesses and carried our suffering (赛Isa53:4) 藉小组让我们长大成人，讨主喜悦。 Through the small groups, the Lord let us grow in maturity that pleases Him. D. 耶和华尼西Jehovah Nissi (出Ex17:15). 祂是我们的旗帜，领我们得胜，使我们同心合一. He is our banner that leads us to victory and let us be united with one heart.

The Lord provides a pastor for the Mandarin Congregation! 这一年来国语堂继续蒙神保守，引导。在去年 三月十日周末，我们有第三位應聘牧师的问答座谈，弟兄姊妹都踊跃参与，專心仰望父旨, 盡力認識鄧牧师。天父很快怜悯我们，缩短我们寻找的辛苦，在短短三个月内，鄧牧师决定按神的心意来牧养我们, 真是超过我们所想所求. 鄧牧师在七月一日正式就任之前已在六月夏令会中与我们分享神的信息。感谢赞美神及全体弟兄姊妹的祷告，以及伍牧师，林牧师，顾问牧师等的辅导,结束了我们一千个无牧者的日子。

33 祂日日牧养我们, 更將得救的人及同工加给我们 The Lord shepherds us everyday and adds new believers and co-workers to us !
过去二年多，我们虽然没有国语堂牧者，但我们日日有主同在，照样敬拜神，小组学习，团契互勉，彼此关怀，传主福音，蒙主怜悯聚会人数月月稳定，增加。祂也把得救的人加给我们，去年共有13位受浸。祂不但给我们得救的人，也丰丰富富賜我们10位转会的弟兄姊妹，不僅與我们一同崇拜，更帮助我们教主日學，担任詩班指揮。

34 藉小组让我们长大成人，讨主喜悦。 Through the small groups, the Lord let us grow in maturity that pleases Him.
如往常祂牽引我们經過病痛, 難處，更建造我们的灵命。这年来有新的细胞小组成立，如西区查经祷告组，長青组，弟兄组。不但有新小组成立，各小组也更新成长，如主日敬拜的安排更合乎主心意; 东区由二个月一次转为二星期一次聚会; 由原来的聚餐专题改为研读主的话语; 南区，中区努力 “日日与主同行” 灵修; 姊妹组, 長青组更深根於主的话语; 青年组裝備自己,搶救靈魂.

35 祂是我们的旗帜，领我们得胜，使我们同心合一。 He is our banner that leads us to victory and let us be united with one heart. 这一年我们更学习彼此相爱，同心见证兴旺主的福音。如青年组的司会讓我们的聚会更有活力; 弟兄组照顾長青团的 “远足”，帮忙推轮椅; 各小组轮流做菜支持青年组的新生团福音工作; 对内对外的特会,佈道培灵….,更表现出弟兄姊妹合作无间，相爱无疑。
