2 以弗所書 6: 我還有末了的話：你們要靠著主，倚賴他的大能大力作剛強的人。 11 要穿戴神所賜的全副軍裝，就能抵擋魔鬼的詭計。 12 因我們並不是與屬血氣的爭戰，乃是與那些執政的、掌權的、管轄這幽暗世界的，以及天空屬靈氣的惡魔爭戰。 Kosmokratores (world rulers) hostile demonic powers – The term ‘world-rulers’ appears in the second century a.d. in astrological and magical traditions in relation to the planets and their influence in human affairs, and to God’s such as Sarapis and Hermes. Clinton Arnold, who interprets the expression against a magical background in Ephesus and suggests that it might have referred to deities such as Artemis, has claimed that to speak of evil spirit powers as ‘world-rulers’ is akin to Paul’s notion that pagan god’s are closely connected with demonic forces (1 Cor. 10:20). This will involve bringing about the ruin of the leader of the opposing kingdom, which the Book of Revelation refers to as “the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan” From the very beginning of his public ministry Jesus demonstrated the nature of the conflict with the opposing kingdom. GIVE EXAMPLES! The kingdom of God was central to Jesus’ teaching i.e. “The kingdom of God is at hand” His exorcisms were a sign of the presence of the kingdom of God.

5 兩個世代 Satan is the prince of this age, but the Lord Jesus Christ is the inaugurator and king of the new age and a reign of righteousness. The End of the Present Evil Age – All believers look forward to the second coming of Christ. This will be the time when our Lord judges and eradicates evil, brining an end to the present evil age. Rev. 21:4 – “there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the older order of things has passed away. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." The age to come – Our hope is rooted in God’s kingdom and his promise of a new age! We eagerly anticipate eternal life with our Lord Jesus Christ. Tension between the two ages – The kingdom of God coexists with the kingdom of darkness, but it is not a peaceful coexistence; there is tension. Entering a relationship with Christ means being supernaturally rescued from the kingdom of Satan and installed as a member of Christ’s kingdom “He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,“ (Col 1:13 ESV) “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,” (Phi 3:20 ESV)

“We all face supernatural oppositon as we set out to live the Christian life. We have an opponent who wants nothing more than to bring about our demise.” “Spiritual warfare is all-encompasing. It touches ever area of our lives – our families, our relationships, our church, our neighborhoods, our communities, our places of employment. There is virtually no part of our existence over which the Evil One does not want to maintain or reassert his unhealthy and perverse influence.” “Conversely, Jesus longs to reign as Lord over every area of our lives. THIS IS THE LOCUS OF INTENSE STRUGGLE FOR ALL BELIEVERS! And it is a power struggle. To which kingdom –and source of power to we yield?”

Satan has asked to sift you like wheat but I pray for you that you may STAND! When is the day of evil??? We live in the evil age, but Arnold believes that there are seasons where there is concerted attacks.
