7 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, “Go down at once, for your people, whom you brought up from the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves. 8 They have quickly turned aside from the way which I commanded them. They have made for themselves a molten calf, and have worshiped it and have sacrificed to it and said, ‘This is your god, O Israel, who brought you up from the land of Egypt!’” 9 The LORD said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and behold, they are an obstinate people. 10 Now then let Me alone, that My anger may burn against them...”

They did something unrighteous 不公義 公義 Righteousness = 作你分內應該做的事！ You do what you are supposed to do Anger = reaction when: You perceive someone or some situation – violates your standard of righteousness (what should happen)  Entering a low self-conscious state 自我知覺低

Anger is not a sin – Anger comes from the ability, the desire, and the willingness that God gives us – For us to respond to unrighteousness 然我們可以對不公義的事做出回應、行動！

A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, But the slow to anger calms a dispute.  29:22 容易發怒的人, 引起紛爭; 脾氣暴烈的人, 多有過犯. An angry person stirs up conflict, and a hot-tempered person commits many sins.

19 Exodus 出埃及記 34:6-7 耶和華在他面前宣告說：「耶和華，耶和華，是有憐憫有恩典的神，不輕易發怒，並有豐盛的慈愛和誠實，為千萬人存留慈愛，赦免罪孽、過犯，和罪惡，萬不以有罪的為無罪…」 Then the LORD passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; who keeps lovingkindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished…”

21 Proverbs箴 14:17 輕易動怒的，行事愚妄 . A quick-tempered man (quick to anger, short nostril) acts foolishly. Proverbs 14:29 不輕易發怒的，大有聰明；性情暴躁的，大顯愚妄。 He who is slow to anger (long nostril) has great understanding, But he who is quick-tempered exalts folly. Proverbs 16:32 不輕易動怒的, 勝過勇士;克服己心的, 勝過把城攻取的人. He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit, than he who captures a city.

A man’s discretion (person with good sense) makes him slow to anger, And it is his glory to overlook a transgression. 箴言 Proverbs 29:11 愚昧人把怒氣盡情發洩，智慧人卻抑制怒氣. A fool always loses his temper, but a wise man holds it back.
