1.直說語氣( The Indicative Mood):陳述一個事實或提出一個想法,也包含疑問句。 Do you have cereal for breakfast? We always have congee for breakfast. What time will the show begin? It will begin at eight. Are you ready? 2.祈使語氣 (The Imperative Mood):使用動詞原形,有向對方提出請求、邀請、給予、忠告、指示警告、發出命令等: Co, Chevady! Go! Hurry up, Cody. 3.假設語氣 (The Subjunctive Mood):表示不可能實現的願望想像,目的或極不可能發生的事情,或與事實相反的假設。 (a) 與現在事實相反的假設 句型: If S + (1)過去式或(were) , S + should +原形動詞 (2)過去式助動詞+原形動詞 (would, could, might) Lesson 5: Moods~1

(c) 與未來事實相反的假設 句型: If S+ were to原形動詞,S + should + 原形動詞 (動詞不分人稱與數) (would, could, might) If he were to return at seven o’clock, he would take me out.

1.名詞子句(Noun Clause): 當 主詞 (S),受詞 (O),補語 (C) 規則: 當主詞時不省略關係代名詞 EX: That I love you is true. 當受詞時可省略關係代名詞 EX: I do not think (that) he will come. 2.副詞子句 (Adverb Clause): 用 although…/ because…等帶出的句子,作用在於表達主要子句動作的時間、地點、原因、目的、結果、條件或方式 注意副詞子句的時態 EX: if…/ when…沒有未來式 副詞子句放句首要加逗號 “,” (時間):Wash your hands before you eat./ Brush your teeth after you eat. (地點):I don’t know where they will take us to. (目的):He works hard in order that he may succeed.

(結果):It was so hot that nobody wanted to do anything. (條件):I should not go unless he asks me. 3.形容詞子句 (Adj. Clause):修釋名詞片語 (人或物) 用who, which, that連接可分為 a. 非限定形容詞子句 EX: My sister, who is much older than I am, is an engineer. b.限定形容詞子句 EX: The boy who is talking to Mrs. Lin is my brother.
