3 馬太福音 13:1 當那一天，耶穌從房子裡出來，坐在海邊。

4 馬太福音 13:2 有許多人到他那裡聚集，他只得上船坐下，眾人都站在岸上。

10 有落在路旁的，飛鳥來吃盡了。 凡聽見天國道理不明白的，那惡者就來，把所撒在他心裡的奪了去。 有落在土淺石頭地上的，土既不深，發苗最快，日頭出來一曬，因為沒有根，就枯乾了。 人聽了道，當下歡喜領受，只因心裡沒有根，不過是暫時的，及至為道遭了患難，或是受了逼迫，立刻就跌倒了。 有落在荊棘裡的，荊棘長起來，把他擠住了。 人聽了道，後來有世上的思慮、錢財的迷惑把道擠住了，不能結實。 有落在好土裡的，就結實，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。 人聽道明白了，後來結實，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。

It is a spiritual discipline that goes on to the end of our journey on life. 個人靈修不是一件隨便做做就好的事情。這是一個持續到我們人生終點的一種屬靈操練。 I don’t know if you ever made bread. It is a sticky ordeal. Before the dough is shaped one has to flatten it down. This means one has to take it in ones hands an massage it into what shape you want. You cannot do it without getting sticky dough on your hands. This is what good devotions should do in your lives. If the bread is not sticky, then it means there is no enough water and it will suffer. If it is so sticky that it comes apart, that is no good either. That means there is too much water. We want the Word of God keep its original power and yet affect our lives. We want the effect of the Word of God affect our work and thought through the day. Many who have personal devotions miss out one its real benefit. It should stay with us throughout the day. But it only does this when we purposely remind ourselves of what we have been learning. The point is this. What do we do with what God has been speaking to us about during our personal quiet times? Once we start hear Him speaking, what are we going to do with these words? How will it shape our lives? I would like to share about Abraham. He is a great and in some ways rather typical of what happens when God speaks to our souls. We will see that this is what will happen to our lives. There are certain principles that lie underneath this process. 我想分享關於亞伯拉罕的故事。他是一個偉大的人，在某些方面他也很像是當神對我們說話的時候所發生故事的典型例子。我們會看到這會是發生在我們生命中的故事。在這個過程中，蘊藏了幾個屬靈的原則。 1) God loves us and loves to commune with us. 神愛我們並且喜愛與我們交通。 2) God wants to use each one of us in a specially designed way. 神要以某一個特殊的方法來使用我們每一個人。 3) We need to discern what those ways are and then obey them. 我們必須明辨神的方法，並且順服他。 Abraham is an example of a man he talked to. He was not a preacher. He was like us a typical person in an idolatrous society that did not appreciate the concept of God. Things changed when He spoke to Abram as his name was way back. through looking at his life, we can better appreciate how God does speak to us and how we can expect it to work in our own lives. Remember if personal devotions is highlighting the time we meet with God, then it is only natural that these meetings will begin to shape our lives. As we respond to Him, he more and more consistently reveals His will to us.

It helps us tremendously to understand why a person’s personal devotions is a Christian spiritual discipline. It is not an occasional thing a Christian does. It is something he takes seriously and does every day like eating. 瞭解到個人靈修是一種基督徒的屬靈操練對我們有極大的助益。這不是一個基督徒偶而為之的事情。這是他天天必須做、認真做的事情。 我們靈修生活的好壞對於我們的生命會產生極大的影響。 我們越常與神相處，就越得著基督徒生活中的平安與喜樂。我們若不與神親近，或者沒有好好的使用我們與神相處的時間，我們就會失去平安與喜樂。 靈修是我們與神相遇，並且生命重新被塑造與調整的時間。從我們所聽見與所看到的許多案例，我們發現許多基督徒不只在「有沒有靈修」的問題上掙扎，同時也不知道該如何實行高品質的靈修。 點選 這裡 看問題與討論 我們同意必須教導剛信主的基督徒要有靈修生活。每天與神相處的這段時間對於一個基督徒靈命發展是很重要的。然而，許多基督徒都不知道高品質的靈修應該是如何的，也不知道該怎麼做。難怪許多基督徒因為靈修時太過枯燥以致於常常掙扎於「要不要靈修」的問題上。 下面這張圖表顯示出個人靈修對於一個基督徒的生命所佔的重要地位。 保持心中對神的火熱 靈修生活基本上就是在發展我們與神的關係。靈修比較不強調外面的活動，而專注於培養一顆屬神的心。 對神的認識以及一顆願意遵行祂旨意的心，就像木材與氧氣一樣，能保持我們我們靈修的火焰不斷成長。 如果我們把高品質靈修所帶來的火焰拿走，那麼對神的認識以及服事神的渴望也會隨之遠去。 我們可以來想一下在公眾場合的敬拜。如果我們在每天靈修的時候學會敬拜讚美我們的主，那麼在集體敬拜的時候，神就更容易感動我們的心。藉著有規律的親近神，我們的心會持續的柔軟。如果我們沒有規律性的與神親近，我們的心會漸漸剛硬，無法因為神的愛而帶著期盼的態度來到神面前。 這只是靈修生活能塑造我們的其中一部份。事實上，我們生命中每一個重要的領域都會因著我們花時間與神相處而被改變。 請繼續跟著我們來看下面幾頁，會幫助你更瞭解為什麼我們經常對於擁有高品質的靈修有困難。 靈修

這 人 多 結 果 子 約 翰 福 音十五 ５ 你 們 多 結 果 子 約 翰 福 音十五 ８ We cannot just focus on our own personal growth with the Lord. Some people think of our relationship with the Lord as personal. But any personal relationship will shortly become public. The reason is as John 15:8 says, “By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciple.” 你 們 多 結 果 子 、 我 父 就 因 此 得 榮 耀 、 你 們 也 就 是 我 的 門 徒 了 。(約 翰 福 音15:8) Our service is an outflow from our relationship with the Lord. Just as a couple together bear children, so a man and God will bear forth his fruit. This is the source of our ministry. God does not say where this fruit might be seen. That is His business. And so when we get a picture of our lives and our meetings with God, we must see that God has much to say on our character and ministry. Burnout occurs when that flame is extinguished. We either stop meeting Him or that we meet Him without faith. All of a sudden our life with the Lord and ministry become dry and hard. Instead of our ministry being born out of our relationship with God it is something that we must do in our flesh. This means we do it to be seen or man’s applaud. Let’s look at this from another perspective. 我 是 葡 萄 樹 、 你 們 是 枝 子 ． 常 在 我 裡 面 的 、 我 也 常 在 他 裡 面 、 這 人 就 多 結 果 子 ． 因 為 離 了 我 、 你 們 就 不 能 作 甚 麼 。 15:6    人 若 不 常 在 我 裡 面 、 就 像 枝 子 丟 在 外 面 枯 乾 、 人 拾 起 來 、 扔 在 火 裡 燒 了 。 15:7 你 們 若 常 在 我 裡 面 、 我 的 話 也 常 在 你 們 裡 面 、 凡 你 們 所 願 意 的 、 祈 求 就 給 你 們 成 就 。 15:8 你 們 多 結 果 子 、 我 父 就 因 此 得 榮 耀 、 你 們 也 就 是 我 的 門 徒 了 。

29 屬靈生命 屬靈生命就是你越來越感到需要每日與耶穌建立關係，承認祂是你的主。 我們不但在個人靈修中培育屬靈生命，也要在社群中培育。

35 你應當作的！ 要靈修與神建立關係。 要參與團契與弟兄姊妹建立關係。
