Genesis 16:16-33

2 Genesis 創世記 18 16三人就從那裡起身，向著所多瑪觀望。亞伯拉罕與他們同行，要送他們一程。 (新譯本). 16 Then the men rose up from there, and looked down toward Sodom; and Abraham was walking with them to send them off. (NASB)

3 Genesis 18: 耶和華說:我要作的事，豈可瞞著亞伯拉罕呢？18亞伯拉罕必要成為強大興盛的國，地上的萬國，都必因他得福。19我揀選了他，是要他吩咐子孫，和他的家屬，遵守我耶和華的道，秉公行義，好叫我耶和華應許亞伯拉罕的話都可實現 (新譯本). 17 The LORD said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do, 18 since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation, and in him all the nations of the earth will be blessed? 19 For I have chosen him, so that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing righteousness and justice, so that the LORD may bring upon Abraham what He has spoken about him.” (NASB)

4 Genesis 18: 耶和華說:「控告所多瑪和蛾摩拉的聲音甚大，他們的罪惡極重。21我現在要下去，看看他們所行的，是不是全像那聲聞於我的控告;如果不是，我也會知道的。」 22其中二人從那裡動身，向所多瑪走去，亞伯拉罕卻仍然站在耶和華面前。 23亞伯拉罕上前說：你真的要把義人和惡人一同除滅嗎? 20 And the LORD said, “The outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah is indeed great, and their sin is exceedingly grave. 21 I will go down now, and see if they have done entirely according to its outcry, which has come to Me; and if not, I will know.” 22 Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, while Abraham was still standing before the LORD. 23 Abraham came near and said, “Will You indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked?

6 We Are Intercessors 我們都是代禱者 We Should Care

How is his/her week? How’s his/her month? What’s the best/worst thing that happened?

11 We Should Know We Are Intercessors 我們都是代禱者
We Should Care – about others We Should Know

13 Righteousness = Do what you are supposed to do at your position
公義 = 做他本分內應該要做的事 Righteousness = Do what you are supposed to do at your position 22其中二人從那裡動身，向所多瑪走去，亞伯拉罕卻仍然站在耶和華面前。 23亞伯拉罕上前說：你真的要把義人和惡人一同除滅嗎? 24假如城中有五十個義人，你還真的要除滅那地方，不為城裡的五十個義人而赦免那地方嗎？ 22 Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, while Abraham was still standing before the LORD. 23 Abraham came near and said, “Will You indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked? 24 Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city; will You indeed sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous who are in it?

14 Genesis 18: 你絕不會作這樣的事：把義人與惡人一同殺死，把義人和惡人一樣看待，你絕不會這樣！審判全地的主，豈可不行公義嗎？」26耶和華說：我若在所多瑪城中找到五十個義人，我就因他們的緣故，赦免那地方所有的. 25 Far be it from You to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly?” 26 So the LORD said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the whole place on their account.” God I pray for xxx, because I know you are a God of… (I know that’s who you are) 50/300 = 1/6 = 16.7%

15 Genesis 18: 亞伯拉罕回答，說：「我雖然是灰塵，還大膽地對我主說話。28假如這五十個義人中缺少了五個，你會因為缺少了五個就毀滅全城嗎？」他說：“我若在那裡找到四十五個，我也不會毀滅那城。」29亞伯拉罕再問他說：「假如在那裡找到四十個呢？」他回答：「我因這四十個的緣故，也不這樣作。」 27 And Abraham replied, “Now behold, I have ventured to speak to the Lord, although I am but dust and ashes. 28 Suppose the fifty righteous are lacking five, will You destroy the whole city because of five?” And He said, “I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.” 29 He spoke to Him yet again and said, “Suppose forty are found there?” And He said, “I will not do it on account of the forty.

16 Genesis 18:30-31 30亞伯拉罕說：「請我主不要動怒，容我再問：假如在那裡找到三十個呢？」他回答：「我若在那裡找到三十個，也不這樣作。」 31亞伯拉罕說：「我再大膽地對我主說，假如在那裡找到二十個呢？」 他回答:「我因這二十個的緣故，也不毀滅那城」 30 Then he said, “Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak; suppose thirty are found there?” And He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.” 31 And he said, “Now behold, I have ventured to speak to the Lord; suppose twenty are found there?” And He said, “I will not destroy it on account of the twenty.”

17 Not Righteousness But Love
Genesis 18: 亞伯拉罕說：「請我主不要動怒，容我問這最後的一次，假如在那裡找到十個呢？」他回答：「我因這十個的緣故，也不毀滅那城。」33耶和華與亞伯拉罕說完了話，就走了；亞伯拉罕也回到自己的地方去了  Then he said, “Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak only this once; suppose ten are found there?” And He said, “I will not destroy it on account of the ten.” 33 As soon as He had finished speaking to Abraham the LORD departed, and Abraham returned to his place. 30/300 = 1/10 = 10% 20/300 = 1/15 = 6.67% 10/300 = 1/30 = 3.33% Not Righteousness But Love God I pray for xxx, because I pray that your mercy and grace will be upon them (even when they don’t deserve it)…

18 We Should Dare to Ask - because of who we are We Are Intercessors

19 Genesis 18:27-29 27亞伯拉罕回答，說：「我雖然是灰塵，還大膽地對我主說話。
27 And Abraham replied, “Now behold, I have ventured to speak to the Lord, although I am but dust and ashes.

21 路加福音 Luke 18:1-5 耶穌設一個比喻，是要人常常禱告，不可灰心。 說:「某城裡有一個官，不懼怕　神，也不尊重世人。 那城裡有個寡婦，常到他那裡，說：『我有一個對頭，求你給我伸冤。』 他多日不准，後來心裡說：『我雖不懼怕　神，也不尊重世人， 只因這寡婦煩擾我，我就給她伸冤吧，免得她常來纏磨我！ Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart, saying, “In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not respect man. There was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, ‘Give me legal protection from my opponent.’ For a while he was unwilling; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Even though I do not fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow bothers me, I will give her legal protection, otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out.’”

22 Pray for: Someone you know People/People Group you do not know on a personal level Pray for: 1) A person that’s the same race as you 2) A person/ a people group that is not the same race as you.

23 LORD, even though I am not worthy, but because I am your beloved son, and because You are also my friend, I want to pray for: xxx. May you heal/help/save/reach out to him/her because 1) I know that’s who you are 2) Even if he/she does not deserve it, but you have mercy and love
